Works great, no issues
Applied these a few months ago and they work as expected, no better or worse than the factory ones. If you are new to replacing your gaskets, just take the lid completely off and make sure you clean the rims extremely thoroughly. Start with a scraper to remove the old one and any excess adhesive. Then follow up with a degreaser and a wire brush. Keep wiping it off with paper towels and scrubbing. Once it's clean, wipe it down a few more times with Simple Green or another surface cleaner, then follow up with rubbing alcohol to remove any residual oils and moisture. The paper towels should come out clean, no brown or black should be wiping off. If they aren't coming out clean, keep cleaning until they do. BBQ pits are very, very dirty, so expect to spend 30-60 minutes doing this, depending on how dirty yours is and how many remnants of the old gasket/adhesive are left behind. It sucks, but you should only have to do it every 5 years or so. Applying the new gaskets is pretty easy, just slowly peel the backing off as you are pressing it on the rim. do not remove the backing all at once or it could stick to the side of the BGE or to itself, which could potentially ruin them. Just slowly remove a couple inches at a time. Do not stretch or compress it, just push it straight down. When you get to the end of the circle, cut it with a scissors, but give yourself an inch of extra slack. Incrementally cut small pieces off until it's exactly the right length. Do this very deliberately because you don't want any gap or overlap. Repeat for the other rim. When they're both in place, spend a couple minutes pressing down very firmly with your hands, all the way around. Reattach lid and close it. I like to let it sit for at least a day before using, to give the adhesive time to bond. It may sound like I'm being obsessive here, but having screwed up BGE gaskets a couple times, I'm telling you all of this from experience. I've had a BGE for nearly 20 years. I've replaced them 6 times and screwed up 2 of those times. The surface preparation is critical to adhesion. Gaps, overlap or compromising the adhesive can and will lead to leaks or even the gaskets completely falling off. Negative reviews are most likely a result of inadequate cleaning or bunching/stretching the gaskets. It is a dirty and annoying job, so do it right the first time, because you don't want to have to do it again a couple months down the road.

Very good Quality
I used the Nomex Gasket kit for my flowerpot smoker and it worked flawlessly. Easy to install, created a great seal and was a good price.
