Poses for Artists Volume 3 - Fighting and Various Poses: An essential reference for figure drawing and the human form (Inspiring Art and Artists)

I was looking for something to help me draw detailed techniques, as my tired little sketches are just getting sloppier. However, this book -- titled with "Fighting" poses -- lacked any semblance of an organized collection. 25% of the book was advertisement for his others books (with several blank "box" pages with the same text, just to let you know that you wasted your money very early). The same poses were given over and over, often with just a weapon tossed, and a third of the work had unrelated poses. All together, you come away from your purchase with a small assortment of unrealistic flashy poses, the kind of stuff you might find in a comic book. --- Can someone point me to a decent sport illustration text, with boxing, wrestling, judo and such?

Great book with lotta great poses. Easy to draw, very inspiring. Hope there’s a furry pose book and pin up pose book soon.

I LOVE this, I'm really thinking on buying the other books! This really helped me on my anatomy! I used to use stiff poses for my characters, but now I can use more movement in my drawings!

Don't buy it for kindle. Images repeat and are not of the best quality for enlargement.

Kindle version is awful and buggy. repeated pages and images are cropped. Please fix this...

Very useful!

I like this book, and do use it sometimes. However for the price and the fact that you can find it online for free, i feel a bit cheated on this one.

I like these books simply because they provide some handy shortcuts even for an experienced illustrator like myself.

Good quality book with nice mixture of poses inside and I'm happy I brought it.

I had issues with the file so there is many pages there are empty, which I did not have any support to fix... so this first is annoying to have a ebook missing pages.Then for the content It's many different artists that put stuff that was already online. So might be as well using a Pinterest board, that would do the same. I expected the same artist work and many poses that were more 'unique' or original.
