Great oil
perfect oil for my m2c. despite what others say in the reviews, it is bmw ll-01 certified. probably the best oil on the market for modern turbo Bmw's and you can never go wrong with castrol

European spec oil at an excellent price.
This is the only oil I use in my 2011 BMW 128i. It’s one of the oils specified for BMW’s. I can’t speak to the specifics of this product only that I buy it here because Amazon has the lowest price. I know it’s high quality oil for high performance European engines.

2018 BMW 330i xdrive
I am an auto detailer and take care of all my vehicles. I changed this oil after 9k miles. I think this is a better product than what my bmw dealer uses. It is to spec according to the owners manual, and my car drives much smoother and quieter. I have 60k miles on my 2018. Let’s see if I can get another 10k with this oil. I live in Ohio where the climate changes daily.

The best for BMW's from recent years
I have two BMW's, a 2015 328i (75,000 miles) and a 2018 740e PHEV (90,000 miles), both with the 2.0 liter turbo. Sticker under the hood for both recommends "0w30". When I took them to the BMW dealer, I would be given the latest BMW 0w20 formulation, and I would have to add oil between changes. Sometimes within 3-4000 miles with the 2015, and usually near time for the next change on the 2018. Using this Castrol and doing it myself with a quality Mann filter, both cars go the full interval (8000 mi for the 2015, 10000 miles for the 2018) without needing to add oil. The 2015 stays halfway between "add" and "full", and the 2018 stays snug against "full" for the entire interval. The cars seem to like it. Mostly interstate usage for both.

What I use on a B58 Engine for the past 3 years.
Package is perfect in terms of affordability and function. I've been using this on my 2017 BMW 440i with the B58 engine for the past 3 years and had zero issues.

Pink label bottles are still being distributed.
just got the oil and its the older bottle. Apparently it should be the same oil formulation and nothing has changed besides certifications. Should be good to run in Bmw’s for LL01 if you care about that.

Castrol states you will get old stock until old stock is depleted
You will get old stock (pink label) until the supplier depletes the old stock. These do not meet any BMW specifications, currently. After emailing bp(Castrol) the new formula that meet BMW specs just began production on April, 2023. If any suppliers read this, I recommend contacting bp and see if they can exchange the old stock for new stock. The current product number is the new part number but it’s old stock. I cannot ding the vendor on this. Vendor did their part quickly and accurately. FYI, old stock does not meet BMW approvals per bp.
