Perfect fit. Put it in and immediately was able to start printing. Great price! No programing because it is compatible. No smudges and it's the authentic I compare it to the starter that came with it.

The HP toner cartridge arrived on time - fortunately in good condition. I found it in my mailbox today in the HP box that one finds it in in an office supply store! Yep! Not shipped in an outer box. This likely came from a third-party supplier and not Amazon. This is the second package from Amazon (and/or its third-party supplier) this week that was poorly packaged. Amazon eventually is going to have to put things in a real box to protect them from damage in shipment. Shippers are not handling boxes any more carefully than they were a year ago. HP products are great and I would have given this a 5 star had it been shipped properly.

Works perfectly with my E-Series printer will be purchasing again in the near future vested me over a year!

The last one I installed only lasted 10 months. I really don't do that much printing - just personal, not for work. Every time I install a new cartridge, I have a hard time getting the printer to accept it. That's an HP problem I would say - not the cartridge because it's supposed to be an HP cartridge, so I am a bit mistified here. Let's see how long this one lasts!
