They are not dimmable at all

They don't do well on dim.

These bulbs are probably great for most people, but I would say there are some claims that aren't quite accurate. The first is that although the claim is "soft white" at 2700K, these bulbs are much whiter than you would get from a quality incandescent. We replaced the bulbs in two different hallway fixtures and could see the light from each hallway into an opening to our family room - the colors were markedly different. Also, they are not "instant on," there is actually a delay from when the light is turned out to when it goes to full brightness, a two step lighting process that was annoying to the eye. The quality seems very good, but the claims will leave some wondering how these bulbs can be compared to soft white incandescents.

Luv them, very good quality and very bright, work very well

These are great replacements for candelabra based incandescent bulbs. They run very cool, dissipating about 4 watts, and give off the equivalent light of a 40 watt incandescent bulb. The LED's are contained in the yellow strands which look like filaments, so these units have a classic look to them while saving a lot of energy.

Great money saver -- use these to cut your light bill!

Very nice incandescent bulb replacements that really look like incandescent bulbs when on. I really like the "LED filament" look. Dimming works well too. Brightness meets expectations for 400 lumens (40 watt equivalent) and so does light color (2700K). And of course these use only a small fraction of the power that a real 40 watt incandescent bulb uses (and thus also creates a lot less heat). A couple things that could be better though: * Only 80 CRI. I would like to see better (preferably in the 90s or at least upper 80s). However, the light quality still seems quite good to the naked eye so it's not very noticeable. * The metal base comes up a little high. This may or may not bother you (see photo). Minus 1/2 a star for the minor negatives so 4.5 stars and rounding up to 5. NOTE: I was sent a free product sample for review. I was not paid or told what to write.

This is a very well made set of three Candelabra style LED bulbs emitting a warm white light at 2700K. The base is E12 and works on 120V. The energy usage is 4W yet emits light similar to a 40W incandescent bulb. The bulbs are well made and are dimmable. A sample was provided for review.
