Now Foods Tri-Chromium, 500mcg Capsules, 90-Count

It's not chromium .... It's cinnamon powderGot suspicious about these brown pills for their familiar smell. So I opened 1 pill and confirmed that it's just a cinnamon powder. It doesn't take a genius or expert to find out. No wonder it's cheaper than other products. However, this is fraud and shall be reported.

This combo is very good for insulin resistance issues, carb cravings, lowering blood sugar and preventing diabetes (for me, at least.) The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 was because there appears to be a typo on the bottle. It says: 1,429% daily value. Not sure it's THAT HIGH. Well then, I wish they would bring back the tablets you can easily cut instead of these capsules. I multi-dose it (divide it into 2 doses.) It was a lot easier to do w/the tablets. Also, the bottle instructs you to take it with a meal.For lowering blood sugar, etc. it is actually best to take chromium WITHOUT FOOD 30-45 minutes before eating. It seems to work better for me that way. (Got that tip from some holistic practitioners.)

I've been taking this Chromium Picolinate for years. I usually purchase this in the 180 vegi caps for $11.98 elsewhere [I herb dot com]. Here, on Amazon, 180 vegi caps here costs anywhere between $26.68 and $40.74. I paid $10.43 for just 90 vegie caps here. For a dollar more elsewhere I could purchase 180 veggie caps. This is quite the discrepancy. This is why I give a rating of 3 stars.I would give a rating of 5 stars for this product though.I take these 3X's a day. The 1st dose is with my morning cup of coffee. I needed to open the bottle that I bought from here and couldn't find the larger bottle that I usually buy. That's because the bottle that I did buy was the same size as the other NOW Glucose Metabolic Support that I take along with this >:(As for the product itself? Chromium Picolinate can be a wonder mineral for Type 2 Diabetes control. This IS NOT an end all, take one and done, miracle supplement. But it can be very helpful when used properly. You’ll still need to control your carb intake, but if you watch what you’re doing, this can be a game changer.I can go on about the exact way to do this, but that would make this long review even longer.As always, and this should really go without saying, talk to your healthcare provider [doctor] before taking these. Check your finger sticks often to see if this is working for you.

Works well in many cases but not always what I need.Dependant on what I eat,and what time I eat.over all it helps my blood sugar to stay stable so I will continue to use it

I’ve taken tri- chromium for several years to help keep blood sugar under control. I am an insulin dependant diabetic. This works. When I’ve been out, my blood sugar spikes and comes back down when I start again.

I trust this brand, and they are affordable. I do notice a difference when I take their vitamins.
