The media could not be loaded.  This book is a perfect guide for tarot. It’s a great size. Not too big not too small. It has bright full page images for every card. The meanings are on the adjacent page and make it easy to analyze, understand, and memorize. The book has an introductory chapter and card layouts to further help understand and use tarot card effectively. This book would make an amazing gift for anyone interested in the art of tarot.

If you are looking for a very deep or expert level book this isn’t the one. But it’s a great beginners guidebook for use with the classic tarot deck if you are starting. A simple yet all round reference text for basic spreads, process, preparing a deck etc. and one beautiful spread for each card with colourful illustration of each card and high level summary of upright and flipped meaning. Highly recommend. It’s all you need to get started with confidence, and is not much bigger than the deck for easy carrying. It also looks great to, with traditional hard cover and simple vintage style cover design. Even if i end up buying more in depth books this one will stay as my travel reference whenever I take my deck with me.

I bought this book specifically because of the page layouts!! The pictures show some spreads at the top with some simplified card meanings at the bottom, however, this is not the case!! The book is ONLY card meanings from start to finish, with only 4 spreads in total at the start!! This woman is actually using someone ELSE'S photos to try and bait people into buying her book!! Do NOT fall for it!!

If you have another of Liz Dean's books (The Ultimate Guide to Tarot), this book is the same material, only not so much of it. It is a lovely little travel companion and refresher though. The content is trustworthy and easy to follow, even for beginners!

Ottimo e conciso breviario sulla lettura dei tarocchi Waite/Smith. La scrittrice ti permette subito di entrare in confidenza con la lettura delle carte. È utile anche per chi legge considerando le carte rovesciate. Ovviamente per approfondire l'argomento consiglio la lettura del Manuale completo, sempre della stessa autrice.
