The directions! WAY OVERLY COMPLICATED! Also the print is font -97.For Gods sake cant you print larger? I literally took them to work and had to use an overhead projector to read them.The directions to set a low or high temperature alarm are ridiculous. I am not an IBM or Microsoft engineer. Sure enough, the freezer temp has been as high as 39* F, which is not satisfactory. The device has several modes, including an audible alarm. I did not need the alarm, because it would not have been audible from another town. Rather, I set it to document the highest and lowest temperatures.From the picture you can see that the sensor is contained in a sealed bottle of no-freeze liquid. Temperatures changes slowly within the fluid, so there is no rapid swing if the door is opened for ice or a search for dinner. I am very pleased with this product which is lab quality but very suitable for my uses. It is certified by an appropriate authority.
