Didn’t work for my dog, but no strong odor or staining
I purchased this hoping it would help deter my dog from having accidents in certain areas. Unfortunately, it didn’t work for him. He continued to go in the same spots, so I didn’t see the results I was hoping for. That said, the spray itself doesn’t have a strong or unpleasant odor, and I didn’t notice any staining on surfaces, which is a plus. Overall, it may work for some dogs, but in my case, it didn’t make a difference.

Helpful for Breaking the Marking Habit
This actually helped a lot with getting our dog to stop marking the same spots on the carpet. We sprayed it consistently in the problem areas, and after a few days we noticed a big improvement. It seems to help discourage them from going back to the same place over and over. The spray itself was easy to apply and didn’t leave behind stains or a strong lingering smell in our home, which I appreciated. I do think consistency is important with this product, especially during training, but it definitely helped support the process. If you’re dealing with a dog repeatedly marking certain areas indoors, this is worth trying alongside regular potty training and cleaning routines.

Does not work well for older animals
This works if you soak the area every day, however I have 2 dogs that will wet on the area the next day after this dries. Also the sprayer on the bottle sprayed crooked and did not hit the area I was trying to cover. Overall in my opinion the product only worked when wet. It would be OK if you had a small young puppy that you were trying to train not to go in specific places. Not for older dogs that are already set in their ways.

No research, no real product
Beware of any product that tells you what it is supposed to do and then nowhere explains why it does what it does. If the Bodhi company had done ANY research whatsoever, they would advertise that fact, right. Instead they just say about fifteen ways that your dog won't pee where you spray this. They don't explain in any way why and that is because it doesn't actually work. Dogs pee where they smell pee. They think this is a pee place because I smell pee. So, this is nothing more than a masking scent. Windex will do the same job as this and will fail for the same reason as this. Many dogs obviously finds a location convenient and still smells pee even with the masking scent -- and pees there again. There are enough reports here to show the masking scent doesn't work. If you soaked the pee location on a carpet or rug, then the dog might not smell pee but pee scent is hard to cover over. And if it does mask the scent, nothing prevents the dog from thinking, well this "looks" like a good spot and I don't smell pee, so maybe I'll just make this clean smelling spot my pee spot. The only for-sure solution is good training, which must focus on making sure that your dog is successful and that means giving your dog a chance to pee outside, every time he gets excited, every time he takes a big drink, every time he eats a lot, every time he wakes from a nap. Do that, promote his frequent successes outside, praise him when he goes outside and you'll make a thousand times more progress than trying to mask the scent with this expensive product.
