BUZZFEED ORACLE CARDS

This deck is marketed as a fun intro to fortune telling but oddly enough I believe if I were new to reading cards I might be confused. For this deck to be useful to beginners it will need a more directed guidebook with more information and guidance.If you have some experience reading tarot, Lenormand or any kind of card system then this deck comes alive. You have 100 cards to play with which are great quality and very nicely illustrated. They have matte edging which adds to the durability of the cards. It's really great value for 8-12 dollars as its price varies on Amazon. It's useful to do 1-3 cards to get the energy of a situation I am asking about or you can use it in its 4 suits. It doesn't explicitly say that there are suits but it has 4 types of cards and you can assign them as you like to whatever elements or correspondences make sense for you. I think it might work well in spreads as well that you use with tarot.You can use it to get a sense of a person's energy or personality or thoughts in readings. You can also use it like Lenormand or Gypsy cards with a modern twist. You can also just use it as an oracle because you get 4 types of popular themes in oracle cards - animals, colours, nostalgia and environments. I have no experience doing this but I am sure you could use it to set intentions on altars or as a focus for meditation and prompt for self awareness and shadow work journalling since it carries with it moods, feelings and if you are 90's kid it carries memories.I find them accurate for situation and personality and most of them are fairly intuitive to pick up. For example Active Online Green means someone is available or Armadillo's mean hard or difficult. It's really useful, quality, fun and portable. Love it and have added a back up to my cart as the price is so affordable now at 8 dollars. You can find so many uses for them. It's clear I love this deck because of the time spent writing this.

I have quite a few decks: Oracle, tarot & fortune telling. This deck primarily - and pretty effectively - falls into the last category. It can be used as a "mashable" (all mixed), or divided into its 4 categories/suits; it can answer either way. For me, it answers rather objectively, showing what's going on in my personal, local environment & due to its broad vocabulary, it does so flexibly & specifically.It's much like a local map that gives you the lay of the land. This is exactly how a fortune telling deck should answer.The production quality is surprisingly good all around and the cards, book and case should last a long time without taking up a lot of room. Worth a try.
