This garland was very nice. It wasn’t super full (but neither is a real ivy). It looked realistic. The garland was well made and was sturdy. I was planning to use it to wrap a pole on my carport but went a different route. However, I would keep this in mind for another project.

True to expectations they smelled a little when arriving, I stuck them on our balcony for a couple days (more because I forgot they were there, it probably didn't need to be that long) and the smell faded. If you hold them up close you could still smell it but for our purpose they weren't going to be anywhere near our noses. We hung them up with scotch tape and draped them to decorate the room. It worked perfect for our purposes, and because they came in a bunch of smaller strands we could separate them around the room where we needed them. Turned out amazing, would recommend.

You get a lot for the price which was my primary objective ... so mission accomplished. HOWEVER, these garlands come wrapped and compressed to the point that you'd think they didn't want you to ever actually be able to use them. Not only was the packaging semi-ridiculous, but the garlands themselves reminded me of fighting with Christmas lights trying to separate and detach them from each other. Also, I don't have a particularly sensitive nose but upon opening, there is a distinct SMELL. I left them out on my deck for several hours and it was no longer as noticeable. Once unpackaged and separated (phew!) they were quite manageable in terms of winding throughout the intended trellis. They don't have loops for attachment purposes but I used twist-ties and it worked just fine. They are reasonably full and very few leaves fell off. None of the vines broke even though the plastic is thin. I'll try and update as time goes on as to durability. UPDATE: I've now had these ivy garlands for over a year and they have survived admirably. No fading from sun exposure (although, admittedly, they do not receive full-blast sun during the day); and stayed intact throughout wind, rain and even (some) snow. From a distance of 6-10 feet, they have a realistic look. Happily surprised at their durability.

Okay, so disclosure! I did add in more leaves from another boutique to achieve this look! The garland did what I needed it to and I was able to make my vision come to life!!! However, I used all of it! The garland it’s self is very sparse between leaves and it is thin! It takes a ton of weaving, plucking fluffing to make it appear thick and cover the green wire it is on. Do I think this purchase was worth it absolutely! I could have easily spend $200 on thick garland from a craft store! This saved me a ton of money and with work it looks amazing! I will also say that it initially smells awful! So be sure to let it air out for several days first! The garland also did shed a little initially. So just have a vacuum ready for when you are finished with install!

I ordered these ivy vines for my daughter’s dorm room and they arrived the other day. At first, I was a little surprised at how they were packaged- all wrapped up tight. But I unwrapped them and holy cow! They look fantastic! The vines are individual strands, which makes them very versatile. And they look very real up close and even more so from afar. I’ll snap some pics when my daughter has decorated her dorm room! But these were a good deal for very realistic looking vines.

All of the garland came smelling gross, not plastic gross- rotten fish market gross. Ontop of that the garland is an entirely different leaf than the one dipicted, and sent in sections. The leaf type is very important to some people who are trying to match certain colors or other ivy. It is possible they sell multiple kinds of ivy, but it isn't obvious which one you are ordering so be careful. Besides it being all wrong and super duper stinky, the ivy itself is very flimsy. The ONLY way it looks fine is if its woven THICK, because the leaves are sparse and the viney part doesn't hold a charming shape. The repetative flimsy pattern of the ivy makes it look too fake for anything but dense weaving. I have purchased 3 other ivys from different company's, and these by far were the worst smell, quality, and least convincing.

I bought this product for my tv stand to place around it to add greenery to my home and I’ll tell you I underestimated how much 168 feet was lol so it’s all over my house I’m getting married in a few months and I will for sure be ordering a few more to put around my wedding hall ! It looks so real and soft to the touch yes the product does smell a little when you first get it but nothing that a couple hours outside of its plastic won’t fix!
