A well crafted book.
Everytime a political issue comes up, it never fails to get knoted with Hinduism, but are the blaiming ones known to what Hinduism or Hindu Culture is yet debated. People don't have a clear idea about what's, Why's, How's etc regarding Hinduism as it's a vast and large topic that is not easy to be mugged up in a day or two.And this book is a perfect solution to them. The book deals with topics ranging from Aryan Invasion, Dharma, Sanatana Dharma, Guru, Bhakti, Rituals- reasons behind them and many more. The book never stops at bits and cuts, rather tries to give clarity of thought to the readers by way of simple language and credible references. A well crafted book for every person who has beliefs and doubts regarding the tradition of Hinduism as a culture and much more.

Book on history and evolution of Hinduism
This is an excellent book for those who want to explore the religious roots of Hinduism. One need not be a religious person nor does one need to be a Hindu to read this book. This is a book of knowledge that looks at the history and evolution of Hinduism. My quick reaction after going through the content and initial few pages and topics.

Erudite and well cultivated text on Hinduism
One of the most scholarly and painstakingly researched text on on Hinduism, the oldest living religion of the world. Excellent narrative on the transformation of hindu faiths, rituals and the relegeous practices through the centruries. Great book and enjoyed reading it. Very highly recommended.

Simply a comprehensive Book but language is tedious..
Understanding of Vedas are not a easy until layers of script are decoded in most simplified approach. This eye-opener book will give some good insights about Vedas, their branches as well as core values dissolved in them but youy thirst to explore further will not quenched at all. Reason is simple...Vedas can not be concluded in One Go, If we will try it then definitely we will innocently skip various facts and findings.
