Simple design which works fine
This device has the advantage of simplicity - it is easy to use over a wide variety of batteries, and it does not itself require a battery to operate (um, apart from the one it is testing, obviously).The readout is an analog needle on a scale showing "Good" or "Low" or "Re-place/Re-charge" which is perfect for my purposes, but if you need an accurate readout in Volts then this is not the device for you.To test AA,AAA and button batteries you just extend the arm to the right length for the battery, to test the 9V battery there are a couple of contacts at the side of the device.I found testing button batteries a little bit fiddly, probably as much a comment about my lack of dexterity as the design of the device. It was easily enough done in any case.It's a nice little device which does the job.

Petit, discret ,très pratique.
Il fonctionne très bien ,j'ai testé toutes les piles de mes télécommandes le résultat est celui auquel je m'attendais. Très facile d'utilisation .

Very useful and accurate, a bit fiddly to open and hold batteries in place but worth it .
