Beretta Men's Silver Pigeon Shooting Vest

Very well made vest. I purchased a black/gold vest in Small. The vest is a tailored fit. I normally wear slim fit clothing and an S fit me perfectly(5'11 athletic). If you like looser clothing, purchase a size up, you can adjust the vest to make it more fitting. The vest has a total of 3 pockets: 2 in the front for shells and one inside the vest on the left side for small acssesories. Additionally, you get a recoil reducing gel pad which you can insert either into the left or right shoulder. On the left side of the vest there is a tab, which you can use to hold a towel. I would recommend this vest. However, it's a slim fit, so you might want to size up.

This a really nice vest but you should by one size larger than you normally would. I take a medium and ordered a large based on comments posted on Amazon. The one thing I don't like about this vest is the lack of a pouch in the back to put empty shells. I have to carry an extra bag to go on my belt to collect empties in. If you don't reload this is not a problem. The gel pack for the shoulder pad is a nice touch, nice for guns with a hard butt without a rubber pad.

I wanted to add my two cents on the sizing of this vest. Beretta's website says that the XL should fit a 46-48 in chest. I have a 45 in chest so naturally I bought the XL. The vest fit me as expected. It was a bit loose, but there are adjustment tabs on the side and after moving them to the next button the vest felt great. The fit and finish is top notch and the recoil pad fit perfect in the pocket. When wearing the vest, the recoil pad conforms naturally to my shoulder and is hardly noticeable.

Really nice vest - the quality you'd expect from Beretta. The front pockets are large - easily 25+ shells in each (gets heavy if you add too many more than 25 per). The mesh panels help keep the wearer cool, and the lightweight fabric makes wearing the vest on long shooting days a cinch. Only improvement would be a pouch on the back to store spent shells, otherwise this is a solid piece of gear for any sport shotgunner.

Excellent. Keep in mind it runs small in size. I am an XL and ordered 3XL.

At 6-3 / 200 an XL is a little loose. I do very much like the gel pad and being able to use it as a left-hand shooter. Would give it 5 stars but for the fit. Other than that, a nice, functional shooting vest. Very well-made as well. I would buy another if this one wears out, but maybe in a large.

Fits just right. I'm 5'7" with a 39" chest, and the small fit me just perfectly. First class workmanship. I'm giving it four stars, because it should have had pockets in the rear for empty hulls..

Great vest. Like many other reviews say, buy one size larger then your shirt size. This is what i did and the size larger fit perfectly. Other then that the shoulder pad doesn't make a ton of a difference but the day after 250 rounds down my 12 gauge and I wasn't sore so it must be doing something. The pockets hold plenty of shells/empties. Perfect vest at the right price.

I like it overall, but I am not too pleased with the shoulder pad set-up. I got the beretta gel pad for the vest but it doesn't fit very well. Either the pocket is too large or the pad is too small. It slips around and at times doesn't provide proper protection. I tried sewing around the pad to stabilize it but the pad seems to be too narrow so the butt of the gun slips off and ends up on my shoulder. The vest itself is well made and a good fit so I will keep it but I got the Limbsaver shooting pad and it works very well protecting my shoulder.
