This apparatus is especially nice because it has a built in power output of 100 watts. If you are thinking about using your CB Radio's PA output, you're going to have to get an amplifier for it if you want to be able to hear it over your engine running. Just do the math: Cheap CB + Amp that Doesn't suck + PA Horn = more than the cost of this device.This device also has leads to hook up your other attention-grabbing accessories like Aux Lighting, Air Horn Kit, or you can also run wires from your actual radio into this thing and it will play it through the PA Speaker.The only minor feedback I would give Lamphus would be to get a higher quality PTT Mic on there. This one feels cheap compared to my CB Mic, or just have a pinned connector so I can put a PTT Mic of my own choosing on there. I do not feel strongly enough about it to remove a star because otherwise this is an excellent value and works exactly as I hoped it would.The wiring that comes with it is also long enough so you can wire it all together with your existing accessories without having to add longer bits to it. The entire wiring installation took me less than 20 minutes from Opening the Box to having a fully wired and functional PA.

OK, here's what you want to know. This unit is pretty damn good. I got this and a 100w speaker that I've seen bundled with this. As far as the sounds, very loud and a head turner especially with the volume all the way up. Not recommend if there are cops around lol. As far as speaking in the mic, you basically have to touch it with your lips. The volume nob definitely has a major part of you want someone to hear you, but over all not too bad. As far as hooking it up, it was easy as long as you have basic understanding of wires. The two green wires go to the two brown wires that are on the speaker, the red goes to the positive terminal on your battery and the black goes to the negitive and also grounds. The yellow and blue are for additional things like lights and would act like a positive wire. Over all, this was a plug and play for me. Two little shrink wrap pieces for the speaker wire and two connectors for the battery and it was off trolling my friends in the parking lot.I drive a 00' Dodge Ram with a Cummins in it, so I figured the best place to mount the speaker is on the fuse box lid, right behind the driver side battery. Haven't driven around yet to see the temperature, but from knowing my truck, it shouldn't be hot enough to damage anything. Ran the wires in the cab through a hole near the steering column and under my dash. I plan on mounting it under my cup holder, which seemed to be the most logical spot for me.

This siren replaced a 12 year old SHO ME. I love the Lamphus siren. The output of this siren is great, the two auxiliary switches are very helpful. The low tone of the airhorn helps get driver attention. The PA works perfect. The two variations of Hi LO are just a fast and a slow speed of the same tone. The technicians told me it was very easy to install. The siren output can be controlled from the volume switch. I would buy it again.

Im in high school so I don't know much about installing stuff in trucks but I was able to install this. It was pretty easy to install thanks to the wire harness. After instillation the product works great. Would strongly recommend this product

Everything worked well, but I was surprised how cheaply the handheld mic was made. The mic when keyed gets stuck and I would not recommend this product. Vey cheaply made.

P A system is very weak. It not 100 Watts as ad says. Everything else is great and loud. maybe if it had a power Mic built in.If anyone knows how to add more amp to my PA please e-mail me at. [email protected]

Siren works great, horn sounds more like a fog horn rather than an air horn, and the high-low-2 siren doesn't have much use. Other than that, the two auxiliary switches don't have any power to them. Not sure why.EDIT: I opened the metal casing up and the wires to the switch just weren't connected. Easy fix.
