During pandemic, I got into organizing! Staying home I started with closet, shoes and those designer handbags I felt I'll never ever get to use. The heat and humidity levels, salt infused air are all constant in the island I live in. Things rust, spoil and deteriorate faster. I chance upon a YT vlogger who said these things "DO NOT EAT" gels are excellent in preserving the life of of practically everything! Bought me a 1 bag first, and packed 1-2 on every pair shoes, handbags, jewelry, medical equipment, kitchen tools (rusting and keep sharpeness, tech gadgets, powdered stuff like flour, proteins, salt, sugar, flour etc, seasonal clothing like winter, formal wear or hike gears, even office supplies like paper clips, fasterners, paper, anything silicone or rubber, practically anything that is in drawers, containers or ziploc bags! After a year of using them, I'm now a believer ! I've used 2 bags in 2 years and am still not done organizing! I went through my jewelry boxes, fine and fashion, I bought jewelry bags here in Amazon so I can store each piece with a gel and placed 1 gel in drawers. I call this my inflation driven project, preservation is key now because prices are all UP. Leather handbags are very expensive and these gels not only protect the material but also the hardware from tarnishing. I will order my 3rd bag of gel soon since I've opened my hiking gears and winter clothes, need new gels when I put them away after my winter adventure. By the way I picked this particular vendor because they specified "food safe". I am very satisfied so far because they always arrive like freshly made, super clean and never feel like an old stock. They also don't have a scent or some sort of chemical scent which I was afraid would alter the taste of my ground coffee, Nori, oatmeal, cereals or bread if I put one in them. This brand works for me for now. Let me emphasize I haven't tried other ones so I'm just here to share my experience on this purchase. Not to mention these ones are not stingy on the gels. It has a good amount of solid gels inside. These "DO NOT EAT " are valuable in preserving items we love to keep! Also important to check on these packs when you use them on food. Although they are in strong paper packaging, if they are broken you need to throw your entire food you put them in!!! There's a reason it says "do not eat"! The only thing I haven't tried it in is if I ever dropped my phone on the beach but I am pretty sure I would use these gels to remove moisture as well if that happens instead of putting them on rice containers like most people do! Ewww

These are great! I put a couple 3-4 in the large black and yellow storage bins for my seasonal craft supplies. They work very well to absorb moisture and keep out that mildew smell that can come with stored items. These are larger than the little pack you find in a new box of shoes—— each one is about the size and width of my hand. They are a must have if you are going to store clothes for winter and summer. They work great too to add to your Christmas decorations after you take them down and store for next year.

these are a real cheap way to keep your seeds dry so you keep your germination up over time. They work really well and are small enough that you can throw a few in if you need extra help. i have never had one rip so they are durable and i haven't had one change color yet! I also use them for my 3d printing filament too and i get some real clean prints.

Utilizzati per rimuovere l'umidità, anzi vere e proprie gocce d'acqua, da un fanale anteriore dell'auto, si sono dimostrati veramente ottimi. Ne sono bastati due all'interno del fanale, dietro la lampada, per rimuovere l'acqua in poco più di 24 ore. Adesso ne ho lasciato uno solo ed il faro continua a rimanere perfettamente asciutto. Visto che sono veramente molti sacchetti, li sto mettendo in ogni cosa che ripongo in scatola in cantina e garage.
