Quality design with real substance
Bottom line up front: The Tough & Tumble Metal comb is sturdy without being cumbersome or clunky.Plastic comb teeth are prone to breaking, and some metal combs have sharp edges from die-cuts that can be uncomfortable. By contrast, this comb feels solid yet refined, like a single piece of stainless steel that's been worried over by a craftsman to remove any coarseness or imperfections. The teeth of the comb are surprisingly thick, roughly as thick as a quarter. But they come to a rounded points sufficient to guide the combs heft through tangles with minimal catching & pulling. The ring on the end is large enough to fit my forefinger through with ease, making control intuitive. It's also a nice purchase point as it protrudes neatly from the leather sheath. The sheath is a nice and unexpected touch. It snugly holds the comb whether it is in your pocket or toilet kit. It protects the comb from getting debris, lint, paper, lotions, or anything else between the teeth or on it's combing surfaces while simultaneously preventing the comb from snagging seams, threads, or linings that could potentially be damaged if caught on this comb as you pulled it out. While I could buy a large number of cheap plastic combs for the price of "The Revolve" I'd be stuck using cheap plastic combs... Getting frustrated when they break, feeling their inadequacy fighting post-beach tangles... all in all this is an investment in quality that I appreciate every time I use it. That's why I'm giving it an unreserved 5 stars and highly recommending it to anyone considering upgrading from the $0.45 plastic drug store models.

Simply the best metal comb out there
I absolutely love this thing, I'll never need another comb again! Let me start off by saying that if you're torn between the Thompson's metal comb and this like I was, you definitely want to go with the Revolve. I made the mistake of buying the Thompson's first and quickly realized my mistake as the Revolve is superior in every way:- Perfect size for EDC, fits very nicely in my front right pocket alongside a knife, chapstick and keys- Easy to handle and the ring is a nice touch- Tines are perfectly spaced; not too close and not too far apart- Glides through thick hair with ease- Looks classy if you care, much more so than the Thompson's in my opinion- The sheath is high quality leather and holds the comb very snuglyIf you're searching for a steel upgrade to those crappy dollar store combs you've been carrying around forever look no further than the Tough and Tumble Revolve.

Excellent but expensive. I guess you do get what you pay for.
It was a really tough decision for me to spend so much on a comb. Really tough! I took the plunge and splurged on this metal comb.So the comb if flawless in material and workmanship. The manufacturer stamp is crisp and clean. The leather sheath is a very nice tough with deep and crisp impression of the name of the comb. However the black detail could have been done better but I am a bit OCD.When considering the purchase I read about a bending complaint. Now that I have it, I am hard pressed to see how this could happen. This baby is stout!I deducted a star due to the cost. Although I am very satisfied with the build quality and can see my family passing it down for generations, it is a lot of money for a comb. Comparing to other metal combs I believe the cost is competitive but none the less...

Can withstand a lot!
This really works, my wife asked to borrow it and she used it for a knot in her horses mane. Didn’t bend it or anything, but she has to use to one she bought for her horse from now on, not just use mine because she doesn’t want to dig through her tack!

Durable, useful, and simple
love this comb. I added it to my EDC kit and i dont regret it. i thought an edc comb was kind of goofy but i didnt know how often I'd use it. I use it every day, no lie, every day fo fix my hair, or beard. and the added bonus if it being steel and rounded makes it easy to clean well and thoroughly. so of someone needs to borrow it just clean it like any utensil and you're good as new. my only complaint is that I wish there was a different case that was genuine leather in a darker or whiskey color

The only comb your body will ever need!
Don't let the name fool you, gentlemen, the only thing tough about this comb is its durability. The rest is pure bliss. I keep this comb in my pocket everyday and use it to tackle grooming problems. Not just for my head, I've used this comb for my:- Mustache (for when you're on the prowl)- Beard- Arm hair- Armpit hair- Pubic hairGentlemen, I've even used this to groom the hair between my butt cheeks. And you know the best part (aside from quality results)? This thing never has to be cleaned because of its finish. I can handle it all on one pass or mix it up as I need to. Beard, butt cheeks, head, it's all good with the Tough & Tumble Metal Comb!

Not only does it look good; it also feels great
It looks Good; it also feels great. Firstly, it has a solid feel to it, the leather sleeve helps. Secondly it has perfect spacing between the teeth (at least for my hair) and does not pull at all. Thirdly, that hole makes it practically impossible not to spin it once before each comb.

While it is high quality and sturdy. The comb teeth are so big they don’t actually comb my hair. Fun to spin though...
