I really wanted to like these hangers, but there appears to be a problem with the wide shoulder design. Instead of a single piece of wood, the manufacturer apparently bonds two wood pieces together to create the wide shoulder pads. Out of the six hangers I ordered, three of them had either splinters or the bonding was beginning to come apart. Thankfully it's on the interior of the hanger so it won't snag on my clothes. However, given that the manufacturer advertises that "these wood hangers are precisely polished by our experienced workers. And the glossy surface is lacqued by premium paint," this is a significant problem.

I could rave all day about these hangers and would never get tired! I've purchased 4 boxes so far and will probably purchase more. I initially got these because I have a collection of really nice jackets and coats that needed better hangers than the thicker plastic ones I was hanging them on, and I've liked them SO MUCH I bought more for my nicer dresses, shirts and blazers.I am plus size, so these hangers fit my clothing really well, much better than the plastic hangers. Yes they take up a LOT more space than your standard plastic hanger, but if you have nice jackets or clothes, these are so worth the space you give up, in my opinion. I love the wide, rounded "shoulders" of these hangers and the grippy "pants" bar across the bottom. I like the wider, flat hooks. I love that I can assemble whole outfits and have them at the ready on these stout hangers and I love that they fill out the shoulders of my jackets and coats and do not leave shoulder "poufs" where the other hangers stressed heavier fabrics. Out of the 4 boxes I've ordered, they all have arrived VERY well packaged and perfectly intact.I feel for what you get, the price for these is very reasonable and would/will buy again soon.

These came up in a search for hangers suitable for suits and winter jackets. They are a little on the expensive side for a hanger but they are nice. They come packaged 6 in a box that's perfect for holding 6. The box it not oversized. Each hanger is wrapped in foam to protect the wood finish and don't seem to shift in the box when shaken. They are a deep cherry stained wood.The bar for pants is attached by two screws that seem solid. The bar doesn't spin/rotate. Otherwise there are no obviously assembled parts. The bar is also protected by a ribbed plastic coating that prevents pants from slipping even when evenly placed on the bar. Some hangars pants much be placed offset on the bar to balance the weight to prevent slipping. Not these. It states somewhere that since they are wood they aren't suitable for hanging wet clothes. If this is an issue plastic hangers of similar construction (different brand) can be found for hanging damp/wet clothing to dry.The hook: The hook is of importance in some regard mainly for flexibility and functionality. These hooks rotate but not easily. That's not a criticism just a note. That is said to note they don't spin like a top. It doesn't take much effect to rotate them but they seem to hold in place once positioned. There is only a slight play to them. It's just not certain in such a short time of use if excessive rotation will loosen them up over time. The hooks are a very shiny chrome-like appearance and smooth. The one negative I find with the hook is that the hook itself isn't rounded. It is flat so it tends not to slide as easy on the rack. This is especially noticeable where these hangers are used on the rack where it joins. When sliding from the smaller or inserted side to the larger side it catches. It would be better to have rounded hooks.Overall they are nice hangers. In my case, I wouldn't replace every hanger in the closet with them 1) they are little pricey and 2) they take up a considerable amount of room on the rack due to the width so they are used for as originally stated, winter coats and suits to preserve the form.

This is the second time I have purchased from this company. The first time was this style hanger, without the wide parts for hanging coats. I ordered those again, figuring I must have gotten a bad batch based on the reviews. Not only do I stand by that original review based on my second purchase with the same result, but THIS purchase shows that there is absolutely zero quality control. Of the 12 hangers in this style I ordered, 8 were defective in some way. There is excessive glue, gaps where the wood wasn't glued, a whole screw not attached AT ALL, surface mars in the finish along the bodies of the hanger and on the wide parts which are rough and saggy, and the hangers are all different widths and heights and not only hang differently but are also unbalanced.Absolutely DO NOT recommend these hangers. For the price and based on the previous reviews I expected nice usable hangers. These are junk and I've tried purchasing different varieties and arty different times.

Really like these hangers (I order 6 boxes 36 total) and although several had imperfections that weren't up to my standards (I'm very picky what silk gets hung on) the seller promptly, same day as my email in fact, refunded the exact amount per hanger of cost to me and let me keep the hangers. I kept the few ruff hangers no return required by seller which I will refurbish myself for use. I hate to throw away such a beautiful hanger for very small flaw. I bought 2 more boxes for a total of 48 hangers. everyone happy with the new hangers great quality and seller stands 100% behind their product. Highly recommend these hangers you cannot beat their price point and if anything is not to your liking they take care of it promptly. Excellent hanger, excellent customer relations. 5 stars!!
