No big deal because I just kept the hitch originally installed and swapped out its rusty old spring clamp for the Syhood QR skewer and fixed nut — which, incidentally, is pictured incorrectly in the thumbnails. Obviously, its flanged gripping surface should be screwed on flush against the outer hitch tab. Thumbnails show the narrow fluted end against the tab, which makes no sense at all.
