You have to fold it really neatly before taking it on the go. I took this camping I figured I could lay it out by the water. And I did exactly that. I held it down with my bag and a few rocks the kids and I ate lunch on it. It is actually bigger than I expected so I was very happy about that. I fit myself who is 5-4 and three 5 year olds on it sitting down. It was very colorful and really came in handy. I haven't tried washing it yet.
