Assembly of the gazebo was easy as long as the instructions were followed. However, I highly recommend having a friend to help as it can make the job much easier. The additional fold-down awning is low and could be a problem for someone who is 6 feet tall. To avoid this issue, I suggest building it up on the platform as shown in the picture I took.When you're not using the gazebo, it is important to fold down and secure the extension order awning. Otherwise, rainwater may accumulate on the extension and cause problems with the entire structure. I also recommend anchoring the legs of the gazebo into the cement for added stability.

Easy to assemble. The burgundy color is really nice, it stands out in our backyard. The retractable awning is perfect for extra shade and is out of the way when not in use.

Put this unit together myself in about 20 mins, may take the average DIYer a little longer, but I'm a jack of all trades, sooo there's that. Instructions were ok..some of the marked labels on the parts were missing or came off, but I figured it out. Just throw out the allen wrench you get with the hardware kit..it's cheap junk,(most of them are) so use an impact driver with a allen bit, to speed up the process. Quality of the frame of this gazebo is decent, and should hold up to Florida thunderstorms..but probably not hurricane force winds even if you remove the canopy. I tap con'ed the legs down to a patio slab so it ain't goin nowhere. Canopy seems heat resistant..grilled a few times under it with both gas and charcoal.. didn't burn up, so that's good. Overall I'm satisfied with this purchase, but we'll see how long before the metal frame starts rusting and the canopy fades in the Fla sun!

Bought for a house warming gift and friend loves it

I was super excited to get this product as my patio gets a ton of direct sunlight which can make grilling unbearable. I got this and put it together pretty easily, the instructions were simple to follow. When I put it together it looked good but felt a bit flimsy. Then a week after having it we got back to back days of rain, I just happened to be working from home, and I looked outside, the rain was collecting on the roof instead of running off, I ran outside to push the water off but it was too late one of the metal bars in the main tent area had already bent and is on the verge of breaking, I was able to take the roof off so that the water does not collect anymore , however the awning roof you cannot just take off, I dumped the water over and over but I could only stay outside so long, and later in the day the awning bar bent in half. The gazebo is ruined after 1 week and is now and eye sore. I would only recommend if you live somewhere that never gets rain. The roof is no longer intact as one of the arms has totally broken off. Save your money do not but this product. The seller will pretend to care for their rating but do nothing to make you whole.

Purchased to replace an old gazebo that was damaged in high winds. Easy set up and looks great. awning is easy to lower and raise and provides extra shade. would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a nice gazebo at a reasonable price

Did not come with a bottle opener!! When first purchased it was great! Added shade to our grill, seemed sturdy and for in Southern California I wasn’t too worried about weather ruining it. I was wrong. Less than 4 months the top split on the large panel, the awning bar is drooping down in the center. Now I’ve been looking for a replacement top and bar and of course it can’t be found anywhere. This is a good buy if you need it for back to back grill parties, not a long term solution. I’m really disappointed with the quality of the fabric…
