I bought these sticks for a project with kids and it works great. It sustains a lot of weight and very easy to use.

Ok but not what I needed
These should NOT be used on the grill as they burn within seconds of contact with fire. They are only for fruits. They are quite sturdy if used for fruit and has a nice look.
