Super disappointing. The words “just what I was looking for / thought I paid for” were just abt to pass my lips when it flipped over broken in my hand. Pics are from immediately out of box. No quality control. Either wasnt strong enough to survive the warehouse or backing or shipping, and my shipping box was pristine. Cheap ass wood (very cheap). The bristles at least didn’t seem to be shedding apart in my hands but I highly question the quality of those too with this. And I question how many of this shape brush is broken on everyone. It’s balsa wood. Not as nice quality as the pics look and I was only expecting cheap bottom shelf big box store quality. The sloppy construction on the other brushed also calls into question the quality as a whole. Havent used them so can’t speak for the actual brush heads, but multiple diff issues in 1 order...not a vote of confidence. I’m getting really sick of this with Amazon. 75% of what I order needs to be returned even when I spend hours analyzing and deciding re listings. I HATE this. The research and analysis paralysis = a waste of time cause it’s all crap? I ordered a replacement — only bc there arent other listing with these shapes (broken brush is one I specifically needed), & they’re full of ugly unnecessary branding + more expensive + I absolutely don’t believe from looking at them that they are any higher quality / didn’t come from the same factory with made for amazon brands slapped on them. Ordering brushes from amazon? Not a great idea. But I’m only using these specifically for wax application and shoe/boot stuff so I don’t require much. Having a short brush like that prob break apart in your hands even when fully intact when cheaper long handled ones would last longer...this feels like a terrible way to drop $22. Definitely not worth that despite the # of brushes & how jacked up chalk brushes are $. (I suspect they know they can get crafting house wives to reliably buy round brushes for 2-3x as much bc of the chalk painting fad).In summary:- very cheap light $1Store crappy wood- cheap fake “leather” cord (also gonna be very weak)- sloppy construction/quality control- wasn’t expecting much but worth $12 not $22- lower your expectationsThese feel more like disposable crud brushes to me than something to invest in for furniture flipping or painting even of furniture. They will probably get the job done but maybe not well. Are there other options without spending $80 for the same? Meh. Prob not. This should have been the low middle range choice but it’s the cheap crap one. I can’t believe they require the broken items to be sent back. Reordering anyway cause at least they’re so ubiquitous it’s still in stock for 2 days shipping so ideally my project will only be pushed back a day. But this is not fun. I really thought “oh great I finally ordered the right thing” It’s like playing the slot machine on amazon and I feel bad for the UPS employees.If the brushes that arrive in 2 days change my mind in any capacity upon use I’ll update review.I’m am however ordering a backup. I will sand off the branding and tie real leather laces on myself if I have to for something that actually works and moderately holds up past single use

These brushes are amazing. They soak up a lot of paint, but distribute a thin even coat. It makes the job much faster as you don’t have to keep reloading the brush. Very minimal shedding, which is nice. I’ve painted 3 tables so far and it’s only lost 2 bristles. I used the small pointed brush to paint spindles, and it made the job fast and easy with no drips.

The feel of it in my hands are a bit bulky but it may be the structure of my hands(long and medium thick hands). The bristles were shedding a bit. Good value for the amount of brushes. For my first time trying these brushes they worked very well to create realistic trees. Its going to take a while to get used to them in your hands but the brush strokes they make have an amazing impact on your work. Just so you have an idea, this picture is my very first time painting. I was told this looks professional so imagine what these brushes can do for an actual artist.

Perfect brush kit for stains and finishes. I use this brush set to apply all my stains and finishes. It doesn't leave bristles and they are easy to clean. Great buy. Highly recommend!

My daughter finds old wood, pallets, furniture and makes it beautiful. She asked for these brushes and turned my plain end table into a beautiful piece! Easy to use and clean!
