Q: Is the travel bed with stuff sack suitable for use on the beach? Will the material get too hot for use from exposure to the sun?

Hmmmmm, not sure how it would do on the beach. The material is cloth so it shouldnt get hot.

Q: Can this bed be left out long term outdoors/in the elements?

Pretty sure this wasn't built for outdoor use like patio furniture. The material is soft, cloth-like and the bed light weight so it will blow away in a windy storm.

Q: Is the travel size (size large for a 80lbs German Shepard) compact (not bulky) enough to strap on to a backpack?

Hello and thank you for your question. The measurements for the large when packed is 17" x 8" and there is some squish to it so it should be able to be strapped to a backpack.

Q: Is there a trick to stuffing the portable bed into the sack? I wish it was a big wider.

Hello and thank you for your question. Try holding the bed long ways towards you and tucking in just the edges (about an inch on each side) before rolling it up.
