These have been a WONDERFUL addition to my life! They were just what I needed to soothe my post delivery pain and discomfort. The best part is unlike self-made frozen maxi pads- these are fully pliable, they do not condensate and the silky case is gentle against my skin. They stay cold for the perfect amount of time and they rechill quickly so I always had one available. I firmly believe it shortened my healing time and definitely made it more pleasurable. The fabric case is easy to rinse out and stick right on my bottle drying rack - and they dry quickly! They also are quick to throw in the washing machine. And furthermore the packs are easy to use without the case as well- just wash, rinse and repeat. :) LOVE! Review: Doula-approved! - As a birth doula, one of my jobs is to help my clients find comfort in a process that can often be uncomfortable. I am super happy to refer them to the Pariday Perineal Packs for after baby is born and their lady bits might not be feeling too great. Unlike ice packs, the perineal packs are super soft and moldable, even out of the freezer. They are low-profile and donโt make you feel like youโre wearing a diaper or sitting on a pile of cold rocks. The washable sleeves in red are brilliant, as things can be a bit messy after birth. You can also add medicated spray to the sleeve for extra relief. Iโve also had clients tell me that the perineal packs work really well to relieve discomfort from hemorrhoids, and you can put witch hazel on the sleeve as well. Having two pads and several reusable, washable sleeves is so helpful for keeping a cool pad on hand and minimizing mess. Alternate/additional uses: comfort for cesarean incision area & boo-boo buddy for your toddler.

Worth it. So worth it.
Forget just using the for afterbirth birth stitches and care, these are actually the best for hemorrhoids whether you are a guy or a girl and according to my husband they also make great ice packs when you get a vasectomy. If that's not one great multi-use product I don't know what is. Granted these are not typically the things people like to discuss but it gets just the right level of cool without being too cold like many ice packs wood in your groin area. The covers wash really well, and actually hold up very nicely in the washing machine and dryer. The red color doesn't fade and didn't bleed when I washed it with other things. I haven't had to use it often but when I've had to use it it's actually been great so if you're wondering if it'll work and do as it says, YES. 2 years later and they still are in great condition as if I just bought them yesterday.

Perfect but expensive
I had a really rough labor leaving me with a huge internal vaginal tear. These really helped. They are the perfect size and nice and thin so they do not put any extra pressure on the area as the huge disposable packs they give you in the hospital do. These don't get super cold but just the right amount of coldness for such a sensitive area. I think that they are ridiculously expensive but if you are in pain and don't want to mess around trying to find the right thing, get these and you won't be sorry.

Great cooling packs, but also perfect for warm compresses
I use these packs for two purposes, as a (1) warm compress before breastfeeding, and as a (2) cooling pack to soothe aches or boo-boos on my daughter. They work wonderfully for these purposes and have not found anything else that has the same soft, gel-like consistency that conforms to the body part that it goes on as well as this does. The fabric sleeves are comfortable on the skin, and I feel better know that if my child accidentally breaks open the internal gel pouch (which happened), that it is non-toxic. In fact, I am on my second set, and purchased the second 3 years later after my daughter broke one of the original and I am expecting another baby and want these for breastfeeding. I prefer these to the round TendHers for breastfeeding because they cover more surface area, and warm compresses were very necessary for me because I frequently dealt with plugged ducts.
