This thing SUCKS! IT’s AWESOME!!!! Very portable. Our small extensions from our other small shop vac attach right on. Nice big filter so it has great pickup power. Battery life is a little short, but that is the trade off for the great suction. Definitely a great addition to your Milwaukee tool arsenal!!!

To be a 5-star item it takes a combination of great execution and/or being a really useful unique product. When I first received this item I almost questioned the first.First, this is surprisingly large. To give you a clue it comes with a warning not to sit on it which exists for a reason - you might be tempted (and probably could). The design is good but it's simply not as tight as it could have been - it's great that there's room to stow two included nozzles but unfortunately they didn't include one or two more or provide a more protected spot for the hose - I think with a bit of extra design time they could have worked it out.Otherwise the design is simple and solid. Large plastic clips lock the top hatch down and hold the top half (the motor) to the bottom half (tank). Note that you can actually reverse their orientation so the hose holder is on the outlet side. This might cause confusion if you reverse it accidentally like I did.Where this thing shines is in it's utility and that's where it continually surprised. I just don't know of any other products this useful and powerful that are portable. In the two weeks I've had it it's followed me into the car, around the house as I've been doing electrical work, onto my roof to clean up after some chimney work and of course up and down the stairs. I've sucked up tons of dirt, gravel and rocks, a broken glass on the deck and simply find myself reaching for it constantly. It's not quite as powerful as the miele, but it's close enough most of the time.As others have said, this thing sucks up the batteries. 10 minutes is just about right for the smaller battery so prepare to ration it's use and/or charge a lot. That's about one or two car vacuuming depending on how often you shut it down. The larger battery is obviously better and with that I don't find myself worrying about rationing.The bottom line is that this is a 5-star item. Few things quite like it exist and there is little doubt that if you own it you'll be happy with it.1 Year Later:So I came back to say that this is honestly one of my most used tools. Think about it this way - every job uses a different set of tools but almost every job makes a mess, So this is needed all the time. Combine that with general use around the house/car/boat and it's great. Battery life in practice hasn't been a problem at all although I've pretty much dedicated the high capacity 18V to this tool and this tool alone.

Purchased this vacuum for it's wet vac capability (a leaky boat bilge that I like to keep dry). It has worked well for that. Hose was plenty long to reach down. But discovered how useful it was during a construction project picking up loose debris (a mixture of loose blow insulation, drywall dust, and wood chips). The filter is easy to keep clean (simple twist off), and the tools and complete kit organizes well in the carrying case. Using the same batteries as my other Milwaukee tools made this a handy addition. This was a win for me.

A friend who is a plumber told me about this product, and that it is the number one choice for plumbers due to its ability to vacuum up water if the HEPA filter is first removed. It is a cordless 18V vacuum that performs like it is corded and running on 120VAC. i purchased this high-performing industrial grade vacuum because I was tired of buying weak cordless residential grade DBs. I love it!

Item is brand new Milwaukee cordless wet/dry vacuum. All attachments packaged in box and battery is separate. Works fantastically, similar to your regular corded vacuum in regards to suction power. Filter comes already attached to system and ready to use. Would definitely purchase from this seller again.

I have a few other Milwaukee 18V tools, so I already have several of their M18 battery packs - and this made buying their vacuum an easy decision.Overall, I'm impressed with it. Suction is quite good...nearly as strong as my home's central vac. In the shop, it sucks up sawdust, drywall dust, pet hair and so on - and it's also useful to vacuum out the car, the deck and anywhere else you need a powerful small vacuum. It won't replace a large conventional shop vac, but for those smaller jobs, it's perfect.The hose is long enough to use at a distance of a few feet from the vac, but even if you have to hold the vac in one hand and the hose in the other, it's still pretty easy to maneuver into tight spaces. The attachments are fairly standard and useful, although I sometimes have a hard time keeping the attachments connected to the hose.Otherwise, construction quality is good, and it's pretty simple to assemble or empty.I get something under 20 minutes per charge, but it only takes a few seconds to swap batteries. Still, it would be nice to have an AC adapter of some sort that lets you plug the vacuum in, should you need it for long jobs. Add an LED light on the hose so you can see your way in dark spots, a better hose storage solution on the side of the vacuum, and maybe a third attachment with a brush of some sort - and you easily have a five star product.
