I would assume they would stick with direct contact with a cold beverage glass since my other ones which are similar were damaged that way. The ones I use daily for cold glasses of ice water are tile. Somehow the porous tile coasters that I bought, with cork on the bottom, work well. I bought these on Amazon with some hiccups: https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B003ZYX6RM/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1. The first shipment I got one was broken so I had to send them back. They do a lousy job of wrapping them up. I reordered and got a good shipment. Then when I ordered them in a different color, they were so ugly I sent them back and reordered this original pair.
