I don’t write reviews very often but I have to say that I had these recommended by multiple people including medical professionals and for my first two pregnancies I thought it was mumbo jumbo and ignored it, the price tag seemed to steep anyway.My third pregnancy and once again nursing was so painful I was almost avoiding it and I decided to finally give them a try and- wow. They actually work! Even when they first arrived I was skeptical and underwhelmed by them- but I can’t argue with the results. I was using the hydrogel patches before these but the results from these were actually faster for me.You and your baby’s health and ability to nurse without agony and stress are totally worth it. They protected me and allowed me to heal in between sessions so that I eventually rarely needed them. The only thing I wish is that I had gotten them two pregnancies ago when they were first recommended to me. It would have saved me a lot of pain and suffering.

I first got the regular size and thought it was too small for me. I saw a review saying the regular and XL are the same size, so I bought the XL before returning the regular to compare. Turns out they are different and the XL did fit me better. The regular ended up creating a suction and a little annoying to take it off, and although I haven’t wore the XL yet, I can tell the nipple is wider so I have high hopes. I’m not breastfeeding yet and am trusting all the reviews and friends’ recommendations that talk highly about the silverettes, but wanted to give the feedback on the size because that was almost a reason for me not to try them at all.

Any breastfeeding woman needs these! I nursed my oldest for 14 months and wish I got these I decided to get them for my second baby and am kicking myself I didn’t get them sooner! They work MAGIC with cracked, dry, or sore nipples!

I wish I had these my first pregnancy. I had friends recommend them and oh.my. goodness. What a difference! Totally different experience the second time around and the breaking in period for my “areas” was significantly less painful that first week. I put these in my bra immediately after nursing and the pain just dissipated. Seriously, it vanished until i took them off. If you get cracking or blistering, the milk pools up in these which is like it’s own self healing thing, in addition to the silver itself. Truly a game changer.

This was 100% worth the money for me. With my first baby I couldn’t breast feed for more than the first three days and then had to stop due to how painful it was and the blisters I had. With my second baby I got these in hopes they would help, and it has made all the difference. I brought them to the hospital and put them on immediately after the first latch. I wore them 24/7 for the first month, and I never got any soreness. I credit these for my successful round 2 of breast feeding. So easy to clean, great quality, fit is great too.

I think the silver probably does help sore and cracked nipples but I didn’t like having to switch these out for breast pads when nursing and then put them back on afterwards.Just a burden when juggling everything else newborn- I’d rather just use a lanolin cream or something.However, they are good quality and easy to clean when I did use them.

These saved my nipples and I'd recommend this to every mom that plans to breastfeed or pump!!!! When my nipples cracked I put a few drops of breast milk in the silverettes and BAM my nipples were healed overnight. These things also protected my super sensitive nipples. I literally used them practically 24/7 for the first 4 months postpartum (be sure to wash them daily). Highly recommend.

My daughter-in-law loved these. I gave her them for her bridal shower. Very helpful for a first time nursing mother! She’s pregnant with #2 now. So she’s about to use them again
