I buy these dishwasher packs because they are really unscented, unlike some other products. They leave my dishes clean and my glassware water spot free, with no lingering scent to interfere with the presentation of the food. They are a very good value and leave the inside of my dishwasher clean, no built-up residue. I will continue to buy these packs since they are effective and better for the environment.

These are the best dishwasher pods I’ve ever used! I recommend them to anyone who asks because they consistently get my dishes clean and make washing dishes so much easier. They work well, leave everything looking fresh, and I love how reliable they are. I’ve tried other brands, but these have become my go-to dishwasher pods. They’re effective, convenient, and worth every penny. I’ll definitely continue purchasing these and would highly recommend them to others!

I was tasting dish detergent on my cups and was looking for a product that would do well cleaning but also leave no taste/fragrance. These are perfect. Unlike some other dishwasher tabs I have never had them leak, they get rid of grease and clean all my dishes well Plus they don’t leave a smell !

I was looking for a healthier option without the smell, this is great, residue free, cleans and sparkles dishes, high value for the money. Definitely buy again when I run out.

I switched to these Seventh Generation dishwasher detergent packs because I wanted something with cleaner ingredients and less of that strong chemical scent. Overall, they’ve been working well for our everyday dishes. Glasses come out clear, plates feel clean, and there’s no overpowering fragrance left behind, which I really appreciate. Pros: They dissolve well in my dishwasher, don’t leave a strong smell, and I like that the formula feels more eco-conscious. The packs are convenient and mess-free, which makes loading the dishwasher quick and easy. Cons: On heavier loads with baked-on food, I’ve noticed they’re not quite as powerful as some of the more aggressive mainstream brands. I sometimes need to pre-rinse more thoroughly for best results. They also tend to be slightly more expensive. For regular daily use, they’ve been a solid choice in our home. If you run very heavy or greasy loads often, just be prepared to do a little extra pre-rinsing.

I have been using seventh generation dishwasher detergent for years. It cleans well and I don’t see residues. I buy a big jar and just keep getting refills to put in the jar.

Oct 11, '21....Update to the Update to the Update: I got a new dishwasher. It isn't a fancy-pants brand, but it does have an upper spray-arm, and it works great. I do a quick rinse on my dishes before loading, and I use the "normal" setting. I'm still using these Seventh Generation packs --- going on 5+ yrs now -- and they're still doing an amazing job! Plus, no fumes, and safe for the environment. Update to the update: It's been about 3.5 years since my original review, and I still rate this product with 5 stars! I'm still thrilled with the lack of fumes and with my sparkling clean dishes! And I still stand by my belief that if you have a crappy dishwasher, your dishes will never come out clean, no matter what. So, get a good dishwasher and use Seventh Generation Dishwasher Detergent Packs for an eco-friendly clean and no fumes! Yay! Original review: The reviews vary on this product, so I wanted to try an entire tub of Seventh Generation Dishwasher Detergent Packs (73 count) before reviewing it myself. First of all, I just want to say that if you have a crappy dishwasher, you will get crappy results no matter what kind of product you use. I know this to be a fact because I had a crappy run-of-the-mill apartment-issued dishwasher for 11 years, and I tried every detergent and nothing truly cleaned them to my high standards. In my opinion an excellent dishwasher (we had a Kenmore Elite when we were house-dwellers years ago, and it was the bomb!) should give great results with a good dishwasher detergent. Anyways, 2 months ago I got a new apartment dishwasher. It's one of those new-fangled ones that are energy efficient and very quiet. It's not super-fancy, but has a lower spray arm and an under-the-upper-rack spray arm. I scrape bigger bits of food off of the dishes before I put them in the dishwasher, and if there's dried-on sauce/gravy etc.. I'll give them a quick pre-rinse. I pop a Seventh Generation pack into the detergent dispenser, set the machine for "normal" wash, and let it go. I never use a rinse aid. But because I don't have a fancy-pants Bosch dishwasher, I like to manually set one final extra rinse for the dishes. And -- drum-roll, please -- I am SUPER-IMPRESSED with this product! It cleans my dishes -- even the dried-on sauces or tiny bits of dried-on food. My dinnerware comes out clean and shiny, my glasses come out sparkling, and the cutlery is fresh and sparkly. But best of all, it doesn't have the eye-irritating, throat-scratching chemical odor like Palmolive or Cascade (or worse yet, Cascade Complete). I'm sold! I love this product, love that it's phosphate-free and biodegradable, love that it doesn't kill my eyes or nose, and love that it cleans my dishes! And it comes in a convenient tub container.

This has been probably the million times we have bought this product. We are very into fragrance-free, eco-friendly and safe products, especially with our newborn. We have never had any problem with this product, it’s pretty effective at cleaning our dishes and giving us the reassurance that it’s safe and free of harsh chemicals No concerns with water spots and leaves our dishes pretty sparkle clean. Very very occasionally, we will see some white power residue and nothing a huge concern. Overall a very good product and highly recommend

I haven't had a dishwasher in many years and since have become allergic to artificial fragrances and other chemicals. I needed an all-natural option and since I trust this brand, I tried it out. Super easy. Pop the little packet (covered in a bio-film) into the detergent compartment, turn it on and poof. Clean dishes and 100% scent-free. I first bought this product several months ago but the dishes weren't drying - and since I moved, I have discovered it was the dishwasher that was the problem. In my new place with a new dishwasher, it works much better. Honestly, not 100% dry, but if I leave the dishwasher door open partway through the heat dry cycle, it does a great job. If you're picky about water spots, it does happen but they suggest putting your utensils through separately to avoid it. I don't care so haven't had to try that. Overall great product, great value and I'll keep on buying it.

Been using this dishwasher packs, love it. It does not break. Cleans the dishes very well, even the tough stains. The problem is 7th generation is getting greedy, there is no 73count box. They are selling it two packs of 30 for additional cost. I have to look for another brand.

If, like me, in the past you’ve been suckered into buying dishwasher pods with names like “Quantum Extreme Ultraclean TURBO” and three or four different coloured sections, I’m here to assure you that’s all marketing nonsense. Not only do the seventh generation pods clean just as well (if not better) than any of those, the fact they’re unscented means that dishes, especially plastic or silicone dishes, come out with no residue or unpleasant chemical smells. I was using the “top-tier” cascade tabs and I found especially silicone spatulas had a strong chemical smell and taste on them that I had to scrub out with soap and water. No such smell after using these pods, and it gets them just as clean. I’ve been using them for over a month, daily, and have had zero cases of food remaining on dishes after a cycle. Note: i use a Bosch dishwasher that I am very diligent about cleaning regularly, use rinse aid, and follow the manufacturers instructions for loading dishes, so if you don’t do these you may have a different experience - as for me, I’ll probably use these pods as long as I have a dishwasher to put them in. My only complaint is I haven’t yet been able to buy them in bulk.
