It was one long piece that needed to be measured out and cut. However, it isn't hard to measure and cut. Took 10 minutes to do 3 doors. **Q: Will it work with a kerf that is one quarter inch thick?** A: You see the white in the picture? That little plastic is all that goes in. In mine, kerf wide enough to get in and hold. Buy, try, return if not to your liking. Was my plan after shopping. **Q: Can I use this on a door bottom as a door sweep?** A: I guess you could. It isn't that big. How would you attach it to the door? That white tab inserts itself into the door frame. Does you door have a slot for it? **Q: What size kerf (thickness and depth) is recommended for this? The edging secures right into the insulation foam and hasn’t fallen out yet. Creates a great seal . ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Seals up gap around doors *by H***H on January 28, 2025* This was perfect to place around our new exterior french doors. Very easy to install by pushing around the trim. One roll fit perfectly around my 72 inch x 80 inch french doors. They seal the gap around the doors so no more winter draft. The soft foam doesn't mar up the doors either, easy to wipe clean. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good Product *by Y***D on October 13, 2021* This stuff did the trick. A bit harder to install than I expected, but still pretty easy. I have NO EXPERIENCE in handy work like this.(The only thing I knew about the installation was from the stuff I pulled out…and youtube). Don't push in with the blade end of a putty knife…it will damage it. But the blunt handle of the putty knife was perfect to push it in. If you are in OK health (I'm not…takes effort for me to go up and down a step stool, and and get up and down off the floor), it will probably take you 15 min to seal a door. Resealing will take longer, since you need to take out the old stuff and may need to remove adhesive.A friend recommended this type of product. I found on line, ordered it, and it arrived exactly 6 days later. No installation instructions, but they probably figure anyone ordering this knows what they are doing.No adhesive, so I didn't rate that category.If I was in better health, I would have given 5 stars for ease of instruction.Looking forward to replacing the seal on two more doors. I can do this!
