A world of difference from your average rubber muck outs
I am a construction worker (site superintendent) on a 1.3 acre home development in southern California. I needed a boot that is light and comfortable, has the ability to walk around all day comfortably but be durable to dig with shovels and get traction in mud, safely toe kick materials/large objects out of the way, while still be able to feel the pedals of equipment, drive machinery or just my pickup truck with my feet. I didn't totally believe the other reviews but gave these a try anyway since my old $50 dollar steel toe "muck out" boots were painful and stiff and were never that comfortable, not the best traction in mud, and were abusing my size 10 feet. Wore my old boots for about 8 rainey seasons (8 years) in Oregon so I know what I'm talking about. I have to say, these Bekina boots really impressed me. They have a semi aggressive tread that gets traction in the mud, but easy to clean with a boot brush or hose bib, and super flexible and positive feeling under my feet to drive equipment or my truck. Where the material folds at your ankle when you bend it at extreme angles, it doesn't bind up like rubber and rub you raw. This material is closer to wetsuit neoprene (but definitely NOT wimpy wetsuit material) in it's flexibility compared to rubber, while still being stiff enough to stand up on their own. These boots are really the best blend of traction and walkability/driveability, durability and comfort. The only things I would say is that they are just slightly tight over the top of your foot but really not too bad. Not really a complaint, just feedback to potential buyer. Any looser and the boot would probably be too loose. Just tight enough that at the end of the stroke of putting them on, there's a bit of a bend you need your foot to pop through and you can feel it grip the top of your foot the rest of the day. But it's a gentle grip as this material is really cushiony and stretchy. I'm very impressed. I got the steel toe version and they are probably half the weight of my rubber muck outs from the Construction supply (not gonna name names). Only been wearing these a few days but, man oh man, I don't mind wearing all day. My other rubber boots I can't wait to get them off when the day is done. These, I wear at home after work too. They are soft on their own and then come with an insert that's pretty good in itself, and the combo of the two will have you jumping off the tailgate of a truck onto hard concrete without sending a shock up your heels. In summary these are soft but durable, comfortable but built for hard work. The tread design is the best compromise between a mud terrain and a highway tire.Only negatives are slight, they are not really warm as the marketing may lead you to believe however they are definitely better insulated than rubber. And they fit your foot just the slightest bit tight. But no big deal. All in all, 5 stars, I will be buying another pair when these things wear out (if they ever do - the material is pretty tough).Really happy with these.

Perfect Gardening Boot for Wetland management
I have problem feet; flat arches, bunions, toes that drift. Finding shoes is terrible, finding boots is worse. We have a wetland on our property that we needed to tend to and I needed boots. I agonized over finding the right pair. They couldn't have a neoprene upper or the green briar would tear right through it like my last pair. They had to be flexible because I needed to crouch a lot. They had to have good grip so I didn't slip in the mud while pulling vines 30 ft out of the trees. I wanted steel toes to protect my feet if a tree fell or if I tripped. These are amazing. They are lightweight, lightly lined, steel toed, grippy. The lining makes them easy on- easy off and the fin at the heel allows you to pull your boots off with the toe of your opposite foot. I have worn them 6 out of the last 8 days for hours and hours at a time. They are incredibly comfortable. I wish I had known about these boots sooner! Should these fail, I will absolutely buy another pair.

Great boots
I've worn them twice now and these boots are fantastic. I live on a ravine with a small creek below. During rain storms the creek washes down a lot of debris and these boots are perfect when I need to retrieve all of the Trash that is washed down. I've stubbed my toes on tree trunks and they were saved by the steel toe caps. The material is comfortable and the fit is spot on. I hope this review helps.

Perfect for working in backyard once you get the right size.
After trying a size 9, then an 8, the size 7 is finally a perfect fit for our 8 1/2 - 9 woman size. These are definitely men sizes. These boots combine all what was needed for garden work: easy to wash mud with the hose, waterproof, protected toe, easy slip on, great quality flexible rubber, and so comfortable that I kept them on all day and kept them on when I went inside.

I usually wear a wide
I was looking for something totally waterproof and chemical resistant because I am usually calf deep in chicken parts, water, breading, and batter mix being that I work maintenance in a poultry producing factory. I am also exposed to various cleaning chemicals when they come and sanitize the place every night. I was looking for comfort as well being that I work 13hr shifts. I have only had them a couple days so I will be able to write a more detailed review later this month as boots usually don't last a few weeks if that. But so far to help the buyer I can say that these seem like a great boot. My feet are less fatigued after a shift and I walk, bend and flex the boot in various directions constantly. Just from experience I would probably suggest a nice insole to go in them though as the one that comes with it is kindve basic. The toe area is a bit tight as well as the upper foot towards the ankle but nothing major and seems like they will stretch maybe over time. The material is a really soft but firm so the boot will flex but also stand on it's own. The inner fabric is a little thin like wetsuit material but seems sturdy we will see after more heavy use. The boot doesn't breathe very well but you don't sweat a ton it's bearable. Very light boot even with steel toe so I am enjoying the purchase so far. I can destroy a boot quick so I will update this review if it fails. So far so good I am pleased for the price 😀 hope this helped

Second time was the charm
I commonly wear 13 wide or 14. I ordered first 13 and did not fit, return process was easy. Ordered a size 14 a few weeks ago, they fit better. Everyone at work wear these for years at a time, so they must be really comfortable. Noticed that they are less heavier then my Servius, so that should reduce some fatigue. Will update after some use.

Excellent boot
These are great spring /summer boots. They are very comfortable, go on and off easily, waterproof, and are lightweight.Moderate tread that will last a couple years...no boot has ever lasted me longer. Muck in particular has issues with tread durability for sure.My boots get a ton of heavy use...I will be buying more of these Bekinas.Highly recommend.
