If you read the reviews like me to see if a product is worth buying, let me tell you that this Delicia Tamarind Concentrate is the real thing! It has an amazing tamarind flavor (sweet/tangy), we use it mainly for cocktails, but I’ll be using it for raspados (shaved ice) this summer. The picture is to give you an idea of the size of the bottle. Hope this helps!

Tastes just like a tamarind drink from my local Mexican restaurant. It's sweetened, which is nice. I use unsweetened concentrate for making Pad Thai and that does not taste great on its own. It does have some particulates in it, but I'm not sure if that's my fault for not shaking the bottle enough or an issue with the concentrate. This is why I took a star off.This contains caramel color which I did not see listed on this page. I checked around online and it's been reported to be gluten free

I was trying to find Tamarind concentrate to recreate the Tamarindo drink that my husband’s Italian parents served in the summer. I used the proportions from the label 1 part concentrate to 7 parts water. I added 1/3 cup of sugar and poured over ice with a lemon wedge. Delicious.

Save your money. This is anything but tamarind flavored! The flavor is bland with a hint of sweet that’s not even close to what sugar tastes like. Also there was sediment at the bottom that looked like dirt. Would rate 0 if possible.

Very disappointed. All sweet, not much tamarind flavor.
