Q: what happenes if you wear them outside only to take out garbage? My first pair lasted only a month. And they are heat sensitive

I've been wearing mine outside to take out the garbage and they are still holding strong. No issues. I've had them about 3 months now.

Q: Why does the packaging say (after you receive the product) "caution: indoor use only"?

This kind of non slip shoe is for indoor use for flat floors with water or oil on them. Usually hospital floors, and kitchen floors. These shoes aren't very grippy for outside. They have flat rubber nubbs in the bottom with channels so the water goes up the channels instead of the bottom surface of the shoe. Outdoor shoes have more rugged sole with better traction for mud and dirt. Not the flat appearance these have. The grid pattern is what you want if you're working in a kitchen or something. These look really handy to me I might get some.
