Started seeds in hydroponic grow, 100% germination rate, I've had to cull so many seedlings because they all came up! Great problem to have. A note, there does seem to be some possible variance in the particular species of romanesco as I have 2 distinct leaf structures growing in individual plants. Great seeds, will buy again if needed.

I sowed the whole packet in my raised bed thinking that not all would come up but they did. They sprouted in only 2 days. I live in the south and decided to do a late summer planting of various green veggies. I wish now that had saved half of these for spring because I am probably going to have to thin them...if I can bear to do it. Pleased so far and looking forward to trying this cultivar. I've never had it and it looked so beautiful in the photo. They've only been planted a couple weeks so I have some weeks left to go before they start producing heads.

I planted 3 seed in each cell and the majority of them all sprouted! I very gently transplanted them separately and they’re growing nicely.

Never germinate. Tried in my hydroponics system and the yard.

The packet says 8-14 days for germination. Mine all - and I mean ALL - came up in 4 days. 100% germination. I started them indoors in small peat pots in a south-facing window in a garden tray with a dome over it. I have room for 4 or 5 of these in my small garden - guess I'm going to be giving some seedlings away!
