The Best Mirin I’ve ever tasted
This is an exceptional mirin, it’s delicate and flavorful. I use this at finish for several dishes where I want a tempered sweetness that is less powerful than sugar. Excellent on Asian fare, especially pho, but I sprinkle it on Salisbury steak as well. Well worth the price imho.

Tasty Mirin
Tasty and great for Asian cooking. Better than typical mirin sold for cooking in the grocery store.

A special condiment mirin; expensive.
well-made higher end mirin much like medium sherries. Used in culinary arts. also more towards balsamic vinegars of Italy and Portugal.

What real Mirin should taste like
I ran out of this and had to pickup something locally for my Tamagoyaki. Like most other Aji Mirin's it was awful. This Ohsawa Genuine Mirin is awesome. Yes, it's pricy but worth every penny.

Gotta have it!
I am almost reluctant to make this review. If you want to make top quality Japanese food (or Chinese), you need to have this Mirin. You get what you pay for. The quality means everything. I used to be able to find this in the store, but it stopped being sold. The others i found and tried were garbage compared to this Mirin.

The Flavor is Outstanding!
This is the best mirin rice vinegar I've ever purchased. I've been purchasing Ohsawa's Namu Shoyu locally for years. It was great to find their other products on Amazon as they aren't available locally. I highly recommend this mirin - it was totally worth the price!

ARRIVES BROKEN TRAGICALLY
Amazon shipped this and did a terrible job protecting it. Wasnt wrapped with anything and was rolling around inside with broken glass. Seal is broken open too so already used I guess...which gross as is a food product! I have previously purchased this product and had no issues and taste was great, but after this waste of money on clearly destroyed and ruined product which is NOT RETURNABLE OR REFUNDABLE I can no longer in good faith purchase this product anymore. BUYER BEWARE YOU ARE TAKING A GAMBLE!
