Paid a bit more for stainless steel pans as fed up with replacing cheaper aluminium pans on a regular basis. Pans are good quality but take a bit longer to get to required cooking temperature.

These pans from Meyer are well made, fairly heavy and seem like they will last a long time. The non stick is easy to clean, albeit it’s rubbish for eggs. Fried eggs even with some oil seem to stick. Not sure if that’s the pan or the direct heat from the bottom and our induction hob, even when on low though.The very bottom of the pan does stain very easily, and it’s a bugger to keep clean. We don’t put it in the dishwasher as whilst it says it’s safe, it can effect the longevity of the non stick.Don’t buy these pans, at least if you have induction hobs, and expect no oil cooking. I’ve had a few frying pans recently at differing price levels and no one seems to make a good non stick pan any more. Wonder if they have realised some of the chemicals previously used weren’t good for you, and stopped using them.However if you want a set of pans that’s going to last, these are fair value. I’ll update the review long term with how these last.

I love most things about this set, however I am having issues with both the temperature and the non-stick aspects so I'm not sure I can really recommend them.This set was a replacement for a set of Tefal Teflon pans that lost their non-stick after many years of use. I find these new pans a lot hotter than the old set, to the point where I often burn things I'm cooking because they transfer the heat so much more efficiently. Unfortunately, this happens on all of the burners on my stovetop so I am having to relearn how to make dishes that are normally easy for me.I'm also finding that in less than 3 months of use eggs are starting to stick to the pans in a way that they didn't previously. I use wooden and silicone utensils and the non-stick coating shows no sign of damage, but I'm finding the non stick to be more like a much older and well used product.
