Though there are no pockets underneath like our old lapgear desk, which lasted for nearly a decade--it feels nice, and is much more expensive-looking, and only cost a bit more than the old one. The other big plus is that it easily holds a 17.6" laptop AND a mouse; it also works great with my wireless keyboard and mouse while using a desktop. The cushions underneath are much better than the old ones, and provide a good deal more stability. The dark stained finish and upholstery weight fabric make the lap desk's feel and appearance particularly fine.

I love this thing! I can use my wireless keyboard and mouse or laptop from anywhere in the house. In bed, a chair, my couch, you name it. It fits perfectly and comfortably on my lap. It is also great for eating in front of the tv without messing up the couch. I highly recommend!

Primium comfort

I love the design and comfort of this product--it was exactly what I was looking for! Unfortunately, within three weeks of being delivered, it has started to fall apart. I heard a loud crack while I was working one day and was pleased that the surface seemed undamaged, but later in the day noticed that the horizontal panels were splitting apart. They are difficult to force back together, so there's no way I could repair it myself without clamps. Really disappointed!

This product was exactly as advertised - solid surface and comfortable cushion. It works well for a 17" laptop and you can even have a small writing pad on the side. The handle lets you carry/move it easily and it can be used to thread the charger cable through it so the wires aren't tangled. It can also be used to put coffee cups on the sofa or to sketch while sitting on the sofa.It arrived faster than expected and was well packaged; would recommend it.
