Upon soldering up b+ leads, i had a buzzing ...
Upon soldering up b+ leads, i had a buzzing noise from one of buck converters and noticed that I was only getting 10.7 volts through the 12v rail, I didn't have anything to connect to 12v so went ahead with the install. After getting betaflight up and running and testing my motors a few times, the flight controller just shut off, the buzzing went away and I had a dead 5v rail, it was shorted to ground, luckily the FC seems to be ok. All of a sudden the 12v rail was back up to normal 12 volts. So not sure what happened there but luckily I have a ton of adjustable buck converters that I added to get the quad back up and running. For $6 it's not even worth the fuss of getting an exchange. Will spend a few bucks more on another PDB in the future.

Cheap and reliable PDB
This PDB does what it needs to. Cheap and quite reliable. The board itself is quite thick and the solder pads are quite beefy. The solder pads for the ESC's are large, which is nice for when you're trying to solder wires of varying thicknesses. One issue I faced was that the transmission and receiver solder pads for the board are small which can lead to short circuit issues if you're not careful. Besides this, it's a great product! Just be sure to solder the wires for the battery in the correct polarity! I accidentally wired it in reverse and ended up blowing both voltage regulators. As long as you avoid this, the PDB should last you a while.

I also appreciate the extra pads for connecting things like a voltage alarm in addition to the ESCs
This PDB seems to do exactly what it's intended to do in my newly built quadcopter. I haven't yet tried the 12v output but the 5v output is working well and feeding power to my FC. I also appreciate the extra pads for connecting things like a voltage alarm in addition to the ESCs. Pads are nice and big, easy to solder to. Board is thick, seems to be high quality. Most importantly, the included instructions are very clear, concise, easy to follow, well illustrated. Not something you see every day in RC products, even the premium stuff. Good product, would buy again.

The buzz is real
Expect a buzzing noise when this is powered up. I haven't figured out where exactly it is coming from. Other than that, it seems to work, time will tell. Noise on 12V line still requires a filter before going to a camera and video transmitter.

The 1st board works great but the 2nd is defective as the 5v BEC ...
I just received my 2nd Matek PDB board for a new multirotor that I am building. The 1st board works great but the 2nd is defective as the 5v BEC output is defective, rendering the board useless to me (checked with voltmeter). I can't use the board if it wont power the flight controller! Buy at your own risk.

Love em!
I just received my second order of these little beauties! I've used one on a Martian quadcopter and one one a wing. I'm keeping one around for my next future project. I really enjoy the simplicity of the voltage step downs, and the size of the board itself. It's stackable with my fc, but has clean power so I can accessorize! 12v led strips work great, they're always within .1v of what they say. Great quality, small size, and fast shipping will keep me coming back for more. Thanks

This is one of the best pdbs I've used on any of my quads
The pdb I received is genuine not a clone. This is one of the best pdbs I've used on any of my quads. It's probably one of the better ones you can use for all-in-one ESC easily power even the most robust setup at a price that you can't beat

Garbage and I have built over 20 fpv planes and quads
I bought this to clean up a re build of a mini quad and shave off the weight of he wire harness I made for it.For me this is the product that made a perfect clean build into a sloppy mess after costatntly disassembling it to figure out what is wrong. This pdb does Not filter any of the power to the vtx or camera in fact it introduces so much noise that even after powering up the vtx and camera with an additional filter the video was still noisy because the battery input for the osd was picking up all the noise from the pdb.
