Can you cut the bottom of it? The heigth of my doorway is about 78" not 80".

Looking at mine, I would say yes if you had a table saw where you could cut if off straight and even, It has hard thick plastic. Or..if you did not have a table saw, I would measure and mark it, and cut it with heavy duty scissors, then the thick part on the outer edges you could use a hack saw. I would not be afraid to attempt cutting it down to size, just be sure you are cutting the bottom and not the top. Hope this helps.
