These are perfect with much better cushioning than the regular models.
These are so much more comfortable than other models with regular padding. However, they run very small. I ordered one size up and ended up ordering another size up because the smaller one was barely big enough. I kept it for any time i size down, but definitely if you are on the edge of large and xl sizes, definitely go 2x.

Above average (inner) bike shorts
This company does a good job on these in some respects. Great padding! What's not great is the sizes make no sense at all. I'm 5'10", and 160lbs. I ususally buy medium in most things of this nature. I bought a medium, but it was tiny. Returned it. Bought a large, ,also tiny. Returned it. Bought an extra large, and finally it fit like a medium should. The one other thing about most inner bike shorts these days is that the legs aren't as long as I'd like, or as long as they used to be in the old days when the lycra shorts were all we wore. Thus, my preference for comfort would be greater with an inseam that reaches just above the knee. These do not. At best, about halfway. But this is not just Baleaf's problem, they all do this it seems.

Good but tight fit
I bought XL size, and it is a tight fit in the style of racing shorts. I have another pair of Mountain Bike shorts size L from Baleaf and they are much roomier. Perhaps that is the difference between racing and mountain bike style? Hopefully they will stretch a bit by being worn. Seem well made and the gel padding works well for me.

Might be great for riders with skinny legs
I got the largest size becasue I have very large quads and calves. The lower bands around the legs were so tight I couldn't even pull them all the way up, for fear of ripping them. And had I been able to they would have cut off my leg circulation for sure. Get for use as a tourniquet. LOL. I rated them a 3 on everything because I didn't get to actually try them. The quality seemed fine and the padding seemed comfy. They just were not close to fitting. As my title states, if you have normal legs these should work great. For reference, I am 6' tall, 230 lbs with an above-average muscular build...so I am a bit of an outlier. When I get sweat pants I have to go up a size to fit over my legs and glutes...hope that helps provide some perspective. On a positive, the return process couldn't have been easier.

Excellent Shorts
After trying a different pair of Baleaf cycling shorts on which the padding didn't fit my sit bones, I got these and love them (now have 3 pairs). I have always had issues with painful sit bones but these shorts plus an extra padded cover for my e-bike saddle have solved the problem. I am 6'1" and 210 lbs which is a lot of weight to put on those bones. I'm 74 and overweight so I wear them under cargo shorts instead of with cycling shorts. The size XL fits perfectly. The shorts wash and dry easily by machine, just keep the dryer temp low-to mid heat. They're excellent quality. Highly recommended.

Great bike pants
I normally purchase size medium but after reading reviews I purchased size large and they fit perfectly. These bike pants have great padding but do not have any padding in the front. This makes them more comfortable and much less restricted for guys. I don't ride using the lower bars so I don't need front protection. I purchased one pair and later purchased two more and these are my favorite of all that I have purchased. 5'11 167 normally wear 32 medium.

Nice chamois but the shorts are too short and too tight
I was really interested in these shorts because of the chamois. In the pictures it looked really nice. My first impression is that it is a good quality chamois and comfortable on a 13 mile ride last night. I ordered a Large based on the sizing chart but at 6'4", 210, with a 35 waist, the Large are just too tight both in the waist and on my thighs. Also, they are very short...like a pair of boxer briefs...so I was not used to having that much compression that far up on my thighs. The plus side is that the chamois stayed in place and didn't move around at all but the negative is that the shorts were not comfortable around my waste and thighs. In retrospect, I would have ordered the XL size. They run a little small as several people have remarked. Since I wore them once, I will not return them but I might try another pair in XL if I can find a pair with a longer length.
