This kit is amazing!!! First of all, I normally read directions and follow them. After getting this kit, I learned that I don't read directions as thoroughly as I thought I did.Upon opening the package my thought:1. Um... the light is broken. I pushed the button, nothing happened. I opened the back, saw the batteries, but it doesn't work!- THEN, I reviewed the direction again... and oh... there's a small plastic circle that protects the batteries (there are 2) from being operated and drained before first use. Ok. I took out the plastic circle UNDER the batteries, and it works!2. Um... the plastic guards do not fit my teeth. They are big where they shouldn't be, and small where they shouldn't be, and it would take all the material in the syringe to fill for one use.- I looked at the directions again.... and oh... hm... they can be SIZED to fit my teeth. Now I already got a clue on this from reading the other reviews, but it was NO easy process, let me tell you. First, I boiled water in a pan. Then I let it cool some, dunked 1 tray in... and OMFG... the thing tried to shrivel up into a ball!!! I pulled it out, stretched it out (has the texture of chewed bubble gum), and immediately tried to stretch it over my bottom teeth (because doing the bottom first was easier for me, I could see in the mirror if I got the fit right).- OK. I got the idea This did take 20+ minutes of reheating (NOT close to boiling water!!! That will melt it FAST, and for shaping, just hot is enough because you don't want to redo parts you already did), refitting, pushing around my teeth, before I was fully satisfied with the shape. It still wasn't perfect, but good enough. The most important thing is that you get good coverage over the TOP of each tooth at the root. If it doesn't reach that part, it won't get bleached.3. The Vitamin E qtip.- Directions say to snap it. Sooo... I opened the end with arrow, and tried to snap it. Um.. nothing happened. It bent. The plastic tube creased... no snap, no vitamin E.- You snap it on the RED LINE around one end of the qtip! There's arrows on BOTH ends of the wrapper, so I snapped the wrong end. When I snapped the right end, because the wrong end was pinched, no vitamin E came out.- It's a straw. I sucked on the other end til the vitamin E came out the other end. Problem solved.- you WILL need this vitamin E. The container stuff BURNS.4. The actual syringe. This is pretty straight forward. Pop cap off, squeeze a small drop into each tooth mold you made (you did make an actual MOLD of your teeth above right?). Mount over tooth. OWWWW... a bit of excess leaked onto my gum and lip. WOW. That HURTS. I got another clean qtip (have a few on hand), wiped away the excess over the top of the mold, and moved forward to the UV light step. Easy enough. Removed the UV light and... um... 1/2 my tooth got bleached, and the part at the root was NOT bleached. The good news is, this stuff WORKS.To get around this, I did it a 2nd time. Because the tops of my teeth didn't get bleached at all, I could do it again immediately.I got a clean qtip.I spread a small amount of the syringe stuff on the qtip, and literally painted every tooth to the root.Then covered with the tooth mold (which covers each tooth to the top right? Because otherwise, it's going to burn your lip).Then I wiped all excess around the tooth molds away with a clean qtipPut the light inside my lips, and lit it for 8 minutes (the max was 15, and this helped me correct in case there was overlap from my first application that didn't cover the whole tooth.VOILA!!!! It worked!!! In my case, the stuff lightened my teeth roughly 2 shades on the handy color chart. It doesn't seem like much, nor are my teeth their original 2nd whitest white of my teen years, but the difference is NOTICEABLE. As in more noticeable than homemade white strips, dentist 'professional' whitening. I chalk this up to using a qtip to directly apply to the individual tooth I wanted to bleach. Just smearing a tray on your teeth doesn't necessary hit the right spot, especially if it's covered in saliva (and you are going to drool everywhere while doing this.Hope this helps. I was really looking forward to this whitening kit, but they made it very confusing to adjust the trays to your teeth.... If I pay money for this, I expect it to be convenient and easy to use.. I still can't get the trays to fit my teeth... So I just basically use my retainers as whitening trays and just use their gel and uv light... The trays are hard to use because you have to put them in hot boiled water and play around with them until they fit your teeth, I kept on trying and trying without any luck.. Kind of disappointing because I paid money and cannot even use the trays right.. I do. It recommend this product ... Try something out there that has better trays.. :((

I was very excited when I came across this product on Amazon. When it came in the mail I made sure I read everything over and followed the directions. To be completely honest the guard didn't mold correctly and my gums got severely red and swollen. I will not use this product again. It was a waste of money. And even after that painful experience I did not see any results. I have used many products and never had an reaction so to say I was disappointed is an understatement. There should be a warning on the website. Buyers should be made aware of this. Still haven't heard back regarding my concerns. This is the second review I wrote let's see if they deny it from being posted.

Everyone should get this if they are looking for a whitening kit that includes a LED light, Its all basically the same thing so if you do not want to spend alot of money trying to brighten up you pearly whites then this is the way to go.

The whitening part seems to work and the mold was easy, but the light doesn't always work. I think the battery compartment is loose so the light flickers or sometimes goes off in the middle of whitening.

I was worried this kit wouldn't work too well but that wasn't the case. Its absolutely amazing! The instructions are very clear and its easy to use. I use it morning and night and leave the light on for 5-7 minutes each time. My teeth are so much whiter now. Its given me confidence and I don't make sure to hide my smile anymore. Just perfect!

So far so good. First time use in play as I'm typing.If you read the directions super carefully, its pretty easy. For the people saying the light doesn't work, it says you have to remove the plastic first... Unlock the back. So far, so good.Love it, hope it works, update after results.

I really want to impressed with the whole system. the trays when put on the water seemed like they immediately were going to melt, and when I put then in my mouth it became a soft mess. maybe it was my ignorance but I couldn't figure out where the light was suppose top b placed. I wouldn't purchase this item again.thank you
