Not Bad, But be extra careful
I bought these to try out due to my intense training and see if they do what everyone said, but I nearly put myself into hospital just by taking these sachets because as I am a Type 2 Diabetic and I forgot to check the ingredients as these sachets are so high in sugar. My Sugars are normally around 4.7 to 8.1 which is great, but when I started to take these Vow sachets after my training I noticed that my Glucco started to shoot up to 27.6 that is bloody high and dangerous for me, and it start just after I took one sachet I thought they were safe. I ended up in hospital that evening with High Gloccu sitting high and the Doctor told me to stop taking this after your training. The doctors defused the stuff in the Sachets and brought my glucose down slowly as I stayed in the hospital overnight and was released in the afternoon feeling like a wreck. My Diabetes doctor said this could have been worse for you if you had taken two as you would have been in a coma. In my honest opinion, there should be more warning to those who have diabetes and be warned of the sugar in these sachets. There isn't enough ⚠ warning and it should be written by the seller or the manufacturers of this item that there would be a high Health risk to Diabetics. When I slightly watered it down after training it was ok, but still kept a close eye on testing my sugars readings and kept a chart, but I will not be buying anymore of these due to poor information. It should read not acceptable to Diabetics, and those with other medical issues.

22g Carb energy gels with small quantities of BCAAs. Decent in taste.
My partner tested this item. This is his review. This is the second item that I have tested from Vow Nutrition. Accredited by Informed Sport, they specialise in sports nutrition products that have been certified to not contain any banned substances. This is ideal for elite sports people. These gels are vegan. This makes it handy for those leading a plant based diet as BCAAs are quite common in meat sources but a little more difficult to obtain in a plant based diet. Usage: The instructions say to consume one sachet within 20 minutes of finishing exercise, as well as taking them throughout the day to increase daily intake of BCAAs generally. Nutritional Value: Of particular importance, there is 22g of carbs, 250mg of L-Leucine, 125mg of Iso-Leucine and 10mg of L-Valine. The carbs are stated to be easily digestible by the body. To me, these energy gels appear to be more for the 22 grams of carbs rather than their BCAA content as I believe the quantities of BCAAs in one sachet to be quite low. In comparison, a typical serving of a BCAA supplement generally has 2g of L-Leucine, 2g of Iso-Leucine and 1g of L-Valine. This means that these gel sachets have just 12.5% the usual quantity of L-Leucine, 6.25% of Iso-Leucine and just 1% of L-Valine compared a standard serving of a BCAA supplement. Taste and flavour: I found these gel sachets to taste a little bit like a raspberry flavoured sweet of some sort, in a gel like texture almost like puree. Personally, I find it quite pleasant, not bad at all. Price: At £10.99 for 12x sachets. This is less than £1 per sachet. I think this is fairly decent value considering the convenience, the high quality and guarantee that they are free from any banned substances. However, I do think that you're essentially giving yourself 22g of easily digestible carbs as the BCAA quantities are quite low.

Tasty after a workout.
My husband has had this drink every time after playing football. It’s easy to just drop it in his bag and he would just sip it after playing. It would refill him and give him energy for later. Very tasty contents in the sachets and can be easily consumed anywhere. They even fit in to your pocket or anywhere really as they are tiny. Just make sure to press around the sachets so it’s equally smooth when you drink it.

Convenient post-workout recovery on the go!
Have you ever finished a session at the gym and after a few hours began to have an energy crash? Same here. In fact this is normal and happens to a lot of us. I have been trying out these Full Time energy gels on the way back from the gym in the mornings for about the last week now. I’m shocked by just how effective they are in not only reducing fatigue, but also ensuring that I am fit as a fiddle for a workout the following day. This is because these gels are packed full of faster absorbing Carbohydrates and Amino acids in the form of BCAAs. These energy gels have a subtle flavour of raspberry initially and kind of reminds me of a raspberry jam. Though the texture and constancy gets a little thicker towards the end so I’d suggest maybe pressing around the sachet before opening to practically make sure everything is mixed properly before consuming for a more consistent experience. As these are in sachet form and are also small, they are easy to consume on the go. They also taste fairly delicious and it doesn’t feel like I’m forced feeding myself supplements for an effective recovery. Overall, a good product and fairly priced. 5 stars! Thank you for reading my honest review, I hope you found it helpful! :)

Easy to Take
I wanted these for cycling, I could have done with them a few weeks ago when I overdid it mileage wise and just ran out of energy I was so exhausted just out of energy I struggled to make it home, so one of these sachets may well have given me the edge. I have used energy gels before that was a few years back and they where quite new technology and I have to say I did not get on with them, it was like drinking thick sludgy bad tasting sugar so I gave up, these are much better I am not overly keen on raspberry but I had no choice in the flavour however raspberry is not all that bad a flavour with these gels and I can put up with it. Quite easy to take just rip the top of the sachet squeeze the contents into the mouth and help it down with a drink. Do they work? I can not answer that as I have not done that many miles over the last few week's so apart from trying one the other day I have not had the chance to really take any more, but these are not bulky can easy be carried in a pocket and good to have when you start to hit the limit to give that bit extra boost or just like they say near the end of a good training session.
