Q: It says for 2-6 players, but it shows 8 card positions in the play tray ?

Those 8 positions are for the cards---not corresponding to the number of players you may have. My husband and I play all the time....but we also include my mother (3) and have played with 2 other couples(6). It's just a really quick, fun, competitive game. Very easy to play---lots of fun!

Q: What's the difference between the old and new edition?

Q: does this gaem have chips?

Manufacturer recommends ages 7-adult, 2-6 players. Manufacturer also warns: "choking hazard. Not for children under 3 years." Item # 6000. Attractive box, nice color pictorials. This game consists of: Custom playing cards, custom playing chips, unique fold-away control center, game instructions.

Q: Is this a good card game for adults

It's GREAT! My 79 yr old mother loves to play it....it's the only card game my 58 yr old wife likes to play! We RV, and all our RV friends gather round the picnic table after dinner to play!
