8Bitdo Pro 2 Bluetooth controller for Switch, PC, macOS, Android, Steam and Raspberry Pi (G Classic Edition), light grey

Bought for my iPad Pro but had used it for devices. Decent Bluetooth controller. Feels solid and the app and functions are excellent.8bitdo are becoming a real contender in the market. I’ve got their arcade joystick too so trusted this purchase. Glad I did. Long battery. Great buttons. Totally configurable on multiple platforms. Love it.

A device I bought to play emulated SNES, Gameboy, PSP games on an Android Tablet. It is so good that I am considering using it for my PC games and ditching my Xbox-like wired controller.+ Quality look and feel. Does not have that cheap plastic feel at all as the back is textured. Miles ahead of cheaper alternatives and well worth the slightly extra cost.+ Flawless connection process with my device (android)+ Extremely easy to remap buttons+ Good, responsive feeling when pressing buttons.+ I can't be accurate about battery life, but I haven't need to charge it yet (~15 hours of use)+ Perfect size. I was worried that it would be smaller than I'd like, but it's a full-sized controler, more like a DualShock than an Xbox with those thinner 'legs'.+ Really good triggers, like seriously good triggers. In terms of the 'give' they have they're the best I've had on a controller.+ Especially considering the retro look they were going for, the sounds of the buttons are perfect.-/+ Though the sticks have a ridge to allow for some thumb grip, the middle is domed outward rather than indented. This may just be a personal preference thing as I prefer to use sticks from the inside rather than pushing on the sides.Thankyou for having quality tech products on a website full of cheap, low-quality stuff.

Have used 8bitdo products before and found them fantastic and this one is just as good as them.Very sturdy. Fantastic battery life and comfortable to use (Remind me of the old PS2 controller)Customisation of the buttons can be done via your Android phone or computer and the UX of that system is Very user friendly.If you're looking for a wireless controller that reminds you of the simpler times. This is the one for you.

This is probably one of the best pro controller alternatives for the Switch but it has three small issues and one sort of big issue that stops it from being perfect. I'll list the issues I have with it but please read the stuff I like about it too.So people will probably want to know what it's issues are before buying one so what are they? The main issue for a lot of people is that the Pro 2 can't wake up the Switch. I knew that when I bought it but it's actually more annoying than I thought it would be and it might be a deal breaker for some. Secondly, the ultimate software is a little hit and miss. For some reason the controller won't connect to the software on my Mac anymore even on the latest firmware. The mobile app works fine so not a huge deal. Third, I wish it had a dedicated turbo button. I'm glad it has it as I've been playing more shmups lately so a turbo is useful but it's activated in the ultimate software and it was a bit fiddly to set up. Again it's not a big issue. I now have a dedicated profile for turbo (you can have up to three profiles for different play styles with the ultimate software).I'll prefix this last issue with the fact that it might get fixed with a firmware update later on. The biggest issue for me is actually charging the thing. It turns itself on while charging. I don't know if it's supposed to but more annoyingly it won't turn off when I've finished charging it and it won't connect to anything either. I have to take out the battery for it to reset itself. Thank God it has a removable battery (it can also run off double A batteries). The other issues are minor but the charging issue is actually annoying. I don't know if it's just my controller or if it's a known issue that can be fixed with an update.However, don't let the small issues distract from the fact that this is a great controller. Firstly, it's a nice feeling controller. It feels like a DualShock but slightly bigger which I like. The grips are big and comfortable. The Pro 2 is a good controller for 3D games but it's a great controller for 2D games. With the exception of N64 games this is the perfect controller for playing anytime with a Switch online membership. That D-Pad is one of the best on offer right now. The analogue sticks are pretty good too and if you're used to Dualshock controllers you'll be right at home here. The buttons are nice and springy. The triggers are a little long but they're nice to use. The Pro 2 has analogue triggers and the Switch supports digital triggers only I believe. As an actual controller to play games, it feels great and has been great for every game I've played so far.Build quality is pretty good. It feels sturdy in hand but the buttons do rattle a bit if you shake it. I've had it for almost 6 months at time of writing and it hasn't shown any signs of wear yet. As for functionality it has all the stuff you'd actually want like rumble (not HD Rumble but I believe only the official controllers have that) and motion controls. The extra back buttons feel great and are really useful as is the option for turbo, slight awkwardness for using it aside. It also has macros although I haven't used it yet. It's also multi-platform so it's more than a great Switch controller as it works on Windows, Mac OS, IOS, Android and more. I'm sure someone will love that. It doesn't have NFC but I don't care about that. Use a Joy-Con if you have amiibos.Overall this is a great controller. A brilliant all-rounder and a must if you play a lot of 2D games. It's not missing much and it has a lot of useful extras. Aside from the charging issue, it's issues are minor and it's been a dependable thing. I got mine on sale for about £35 and at that price it's great value.

When "here's your controller bro" actually turns out to be a good thing. High quality and easy to use. Would recommend for PC and Switch gamers

Looked at a few different options for iPad controllers. After reading some comparisons and watching some YouTube reviews the 8BitDo seemed like a great alternative to buying a new Xbox controller to use with the 2021 iPad Pro. It’s connects via Bluetooth and it appears to be a very stable connection ( have played for a few hours non stop and everything seems good). Battery life seems good, all the buttons feel very responsive. The buttons have good tactility and range of motion. The plastic is a nice quality and the joins and all nice and tight. The texture on the grips and nice on the hands and ergonomics are good (feels like somewhere between and Xbox and PlayStation controller). For the price this seems like a bargain! Takes away the difficult touch controls when playing Minecraft on iPad and makes it feel like your playing on a console which is so much more accurate!! Great purchase. Also took it to work and a friend saw it, and he ended up getting the same one so he could play GTA on his iPad (we are both grown men lol)

O controle é 100% original, funcionou em todas as plataformas que testei: emulador snes9x e zsnes, dolphin (tanto no celular como no pc), emulador de ps2 (para celular e o pc), além de outros jogos para pc e celular, retroarch e afins. Minha única crítica é a respeito da demora para entrega. O produto ter demorado para chegar é devido a compra ser internacional. Provavelmente é possível achar o mesmo controle com um preço semelhante (talvez 10 reais mais caro) na loja da 8BitDo no AliExpress (mesmo com a compra sendo internacional), porém a demora com certeza será menor que a demora que eu tive nessa compra. Demorou cerca de 45 dias para chegar em minha casa. Do mais, ótimo produto.

He tenido varios controles de 8bitdo como son el Zero 2 o Pro+ y hasta ahora, puedo decir que la marca es fiable (si esa era la preocupación), en cuanto a estética, fué el complemento perfecto a mi Switch con carcasa Custom de SNES.Respecto a las funciones y su uso, este en especial, el Pro 2, cada vez me ha hecho más feliz.NINTENDO SWITCH: de entrada con la consola para la que fue hecho, me ha acompañado bastante bien en la hora de comida en la oficina en juegos como los Mega Man que pueden ser de uso rudo, o cuando todos juegan y faltan controles, en Super Smash Bros, responde bien, se siente muy comodo y cuenta con giroscopio para Gyro Aiming, pero no cuenta con NFC y no puede activar el Switch con el botón de Home.PC / STEAM: la razón por la que compré este control fue para jugar Final Fantasy XIV, pues los controles de Microsoft de Xbox son caros y frágiles, el 8bitdo Pro 2 no me ha fallado, los pads de abajo que pueden ser mapeados por App a los botones que quieras y me han servido de mucho a lo largo de todo End Walker, incluido el contenido mas difícil, de la misma forma lo he utilizado en varios juegos de Steam sin problemas.ANDROID: una vez que conseguí la base para celular, a veces coloco el teléfono solo tenerlo cómodamente a la mano con Discord (Final Fantasy XIV) o lo he utilizado para jugar ports como Dead Cells o SaGa Frontier, bastante útil, y al ser ajustable, puedes jugar acostado sin doblar mucho la cabeza.MANTENIMIENTO: desafortunada mente, si he tirado este control y si sufrió daños, sin embargo solo fue que la membrana del Shoulder Buton "R" se rasgó y se sentía suave o se atoraba, sin embargo en una grata y feliz sorpresa, resulta que los fabricantes, 8bitdo, manejan una tienda OFICIAL en Aliexpress por la cuál pude conseguir la membrana directamente de ellos para cambiarla, la única queja al respecto es que tarda mucho y seria preferente que su tienda igual vendiera esas cosas por Amazon, pero sabiendo esto, puedo decir que no me preocupa que alguna de las piezas falle.Si no cuentan con la habilidad para cambiar estas piezas por su cuenta, puedo decir que abrirlo y manipularlo no fue tan difícil, por lo que su técnico se confianza de seguro lograra hacerlo de forma rapida, con la precaución de que lleva un cable de listón uniendo las placas superior e inferior del control y que se puede jalar por accidente al abrirlo (aun que tiene un largo muy comodo), fuera de eso, no tiene resortes o piezas sueltas de inmediato que se puedan perder al abrirlo.100% recomendable, muy agradable a la vista, funcional y cómodo.

Prima controller, werkt perfect met mijn Meta Quest 3. Qua materialen voelt het misschien niet zo robuust als een PlayStation of Xbox controller, maar het scheelt niet heel veel. Ergonomisch is het ook een erg fijn ding.

8BitDo makes really quality items. Don't worry about that. This controller has a awesome design and works fantastic. The only downside is that for most modern games the left joycon is used instead of D-pad. Which makes for stretching out your left thumb.
