Very lightweight and portable. Made of quality plastic, well finished. I use this for guitar practice. If I sit on a bench outside, this stand elevates my iPad, reducing neck and eye strain. Works great in bed as well. Perfectly, in fact. So light I hardly feel it. Hands free and comfortable viewing. My chief design complaint is that I'd like it to be completely flat when folded, but the curved legs prevent this. Clearly, they're there for the chest support while in bed, so I'm not demoting the product by a star. There has to be some compromise. I would like to have greater angle adjustability when in table top mode, but again, compromises always have to be made to facilitate other features. In table top mode, the bottom is quite slippery, so I attached some rubber pads (see my pics). They protect the TStand and give it good, grippy feet. All in all, an excellent concept, and what really stands out to me is its portability. Smaller than it appears in the pictures. I will try to snap some pics to illustrate using household objects for reference. Great to see entrepreneurs take a concept across the finish line. Kudos to the inventors. I wish them success. The product is overpriced IMHO. I think the retail sweet spot for this type of product is in the $40 - $45 range. I didn't demote by a a star because in all fairness, it's a boutique type of product and it's not a big company that mass produces. I suspect they have higher costs. Review: Fantastic and useful device. - For bedtime watching, this cannot be beaten. I use it with my iPad mini and it has changed the way that I watch in bed. It is so comfortable that I have fallen asleep while watching a show on my iPad. Very cleverly designed and it rests in the perfect position. It seems a little flimsy at first but it has performed pretty solidly and shows no signs of any use after six weeks of intensive use. I highly recommend this. Only negative is that you cannot use it with a mobile phone. Manufacturer claims a separate rubber doodad is necessary to accommodate the smaller size but I have been unable to find this nor is there any mention of it on their website or FB page. Pity. So as long as you're using it with a an iPad or tablet, you're OK.

Not durable
Worked great for awhile but after about a year of use the top piece broke off. Iโd expect more durability from something at this price point.

Amazing
This is a high-quality stand that allows you to fully relax with your device at any angle. This can stretch to fit my large 12.9" iPad Pro and came with a bonus insert to fit a smartphone. I'm even using it with my Steam Deck (it's not a secure fit since the stand wasn't designed for this, but the tension has been high enough to keep it in place nonetheless.)

Expensive but worth it.
Expensive but worth it. I like to read in bed but my carpel tunnel makes my hands go numb and uncomfortable. This allows me to hold books and my iPad mini to read hands free in bed. I love it.

Not comfortable to use When laying flat on your back
I have had this product for a few months now and it seems to be holding up pretty well seeing that itโs only made out of plastic, I still think itโs a little over priced but thatโs imho , after using it for a while I noticed itโs not that comfortable to use when laying flat on my back in bed with a pillow under my head the tstand still does not sit high enough off my chest while in that position to read or watch a movie on my tablet without causing some discomfort in my neck simply because it lacks the ability for you to adjust the height of it, so to try and resolve this I put a pillow on my chest then set the tstand on top of the pillow to give it that extra height which doesnโt work that great because the tstand was designed to sit on your chest when laying down not a pillow, so thatโs why the 2 stars for comfort, how ever it does work good for holding your tablet securely and makes for hands free reading and watching a movie on your tablet while sitting at your kitchen table or using on your counter top, also itโs not that bad to use if your laying in an elevated position , but if your looking for something to hold your tablet while you read or watch movies on it comfortably while laying flat on your back in your bed with just a pillow under your head like me , then in my opinion this is not the best product for that, and you might want to look for something else like Iโm going to do to fulfill that need, or you could try putting an extra pillow on your chest like I did and that might work just fine for you , either way I wish you the best of luck.

Works great. Version 2 is a nice upgrade.
Won't quite hold a 16" Lenovo Yoga, but anything smaller and lighter works great. New version no longer has plastic rubbing noise when moved. Internal structure is steel so really solid.

Great gadget!
Love it.....keeps my head up and helping reduce my neck pain. It's light weight, folds flat, easy to travel around with. I've had the worst neck pain and stiffness ever after spending hours on my iPad on a flight. It has taken me 2 months of physiotherapy to get some relief...this has really helped.

BUY IT
After many failed products and an attempt to make my own tablet holder out of an old spring balance lamp I stumbled upon an older KICKSTARTER for the TSTAND. I wanted something that would let me view my tablet while laying down on my back on the couch or bed. There is nothing else on the market that I've seen that does this as well as the TSTAND. An added bonus that you can flip the hinge around and use it on a counter or table. I've used it as a 2nd screen when working, YouTube while cooking and while on a plane flying: allowing the tablet to be higher so you won't get a kinked neck from looking down the entire flight. BUY IT... you won't regret it. TO HEAR ABOUT THEIR AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE PLEASE CONTINUE. After having this and using it extensively it was dropped from about 5 feet and one of the feet that cradle the tablet cracked. I was frustrated at the time but managed to glue it and continue using it. After having spoke to the owner and creator of this awesome product I was shocked when he offered to send a replacement part after 2-3 years of regular use. This was a slightly improved part that is stronger. When I took apart my stand to attach the replacement piece I was pleased with the quality of the inner components. I had thought that it was entirely made of plastic but was happy to see the metal reinforcement. Quick fix and I should get many more years out of this. I've noticed on TSTAND.COM that there is a TSTAND 2 coming out on Kickstarter and I think I may upgrade and pass this beauty to my daughter. The new one appears to improve upon it's awesome design. I would recommend that you support this passionate Canadian entrepreneur with his new product. Customer service is second to none. If I could I would exceed the 5 STAR rating I've given this product.

Lovely, with caveats.
It's great, if you're careful. Mine broke after two months and I successfully glued it back together. Now, it's been about 8 months and it fell off the couch today and is completely broken internally. Makes a terrible crunching noise at the hinge and chunks of plastic fall out. While I definitely loved it, it is not nearly robust enough to justify the price, in my opinion.

Recommended and happy with the product.
Recieved this 2 days ago; I'm sick at home so this arrived at the perfect time! The iPad is my go to device and I use it for reading/entertainment/work all day long. Having this new 'toy' is making staying at home, with the sniffles so much easier. I can lounge and lie it bed without hand ache from (propping and holding the ipad up for viewing). It works great with earphones for controlling sound leakage (wife does her thing; I do mine). Notes in the box talk about an option for a headphone accessory but I didn't see that option with I purchased it. Would have been considered. The build is mostly plastic/synthetic but is solid and I've had no issues with it. It fits my iPad Pro 9.7 easily and rests on my abdomen/chest in both the recliner and bed with no issues. I'm both satisfied and enthused! Recommended product. Note: previously I was using a microphone stand and tablet clamp jury-rigged together. This is better!
