出来上がってみれば、なかなかの満足感。
はるか昔に小説を読んで以来なので、こんなMSいたんだーくらいな気持ちで手に取りました。もともとMGメインにガンプラを作っているので、本当にHG？と思うほどにパーツも大きくて作りやすいです。胴体の可動域は相当アイデアを練り込んで設計したようで、とても複雑な動きが可能です。合わせ目を見事に解消している脚部のパーツ構成、胸から腹部への細かい面構成はスゴい。(腕や肩は合わせ目を消す必要あり)ただ他の方のレビューにもあるように大味なディティールには残念と言うしかないです。頭部のバルカン部分は中途半端なモールド再現なのでスミ入れすら出来ません。丁寧にピンバイスで彫る必要があります。そして握り手の「穴」もサーベル持たせない派の自分にはツラい…ここはHGとMGの差なんだろうと割りきりました。最近のキットで採用されている？くさび型のゲートも初めてだったのでニッパーで切りづらかったです。たらたら不満点を挙げてみましたが、ほぼ無塗装&ウェザリングのみで仕上げてみた結果、仕上がりには十分満足しています。
