I got 37"(95) Lyra. I am five feet and three inches (5'3) and I properly measured from a seated position from the seat to the top of my head and added a few inches for clearance. I wanted to be able to sit on the LYRA with head clearance. Doing this I ended up choosing the largest they had in stock (37"). Success! I am able to sit on the Lyra with no problems. It also allows more stretching room. I added Lyra tape to it and it works great. I will be using this Lyra for exercise on my weight loss journey. Lifting your body weight is a good way to gain strength and I highly recommend trying Lyra's as exercise devices. All components were very sturdy and well made. No complaints. FYI, If you are buying for a very small child this may not be right for you....Its diameter of its ring is thick. I consider this professional grade. A child will have trouble gripping. A teen should be able to grip it as I have small hands myself and I grip with no problems....but young child will have problems. The diameter taking a measuring string and measuring around it is 4 inches in diameter. Hope this helped as I had these same questions when looking to purchase.

I am an advanced Lyra Hoop artist. I finally decided it was time to have my own hoop. I found this one and loved it because it was 0 point(tab less) I love the 0 point hoop because i can mess around in the spanset. Overall this hoop is amazing. HOWEVER I've seen many people who bought this product and do not have little to no experience with this apparatus. PLEASE DO NOT GET THIS IF YOU ARE NOT EXPERIENCED YOU HAVE A HIGH CHANCE OF DYING. Do not buy your own hoop or silks or any other apparatus unless if you have over 1 year of experience in your apparatus and you rarely need to be spotted by your coach. If you do not meet these terms for your sake and your houses sake please DO NOT GET YOUR OWN APPARATUS. Thank you stay safe❤️

It's a big, strong, stainless steel circle with a big, strong attachment point. Works well for my wife's practice and will handle my 200+ lbs with no issues.
