I purchased this model to better visualize a bulging disc in my cervical spine. I was impressed with the quality of the model, especially considering the low cost. One suggested improvement would be that they either include pre-formed herniated discs in the kit (for an extra cost) that can be use in place of normal discs, or better yet, make the discs out of a rubbery material vs hard plastic so that forward head motion could be illustrated. Since the plastic discs don't compress, the model doesn't move other than in the lateral direction. That said, I'm very happy with the purchase and it was exactly what I expected and wanted.

There was no written material to describe the model components. This requires finding documentation online to decipher the model.
