Used to stick a number plate to vehicle. It likely wouldn't work very well in the cold, but no problem once heat is applied to the surface and tape with a heat gun and the surface is cleaned with IPA. Only real problem is that the backing is a pain to get off but the provided knife works well to cut it and scrape the backing off. Review: Seems to have stuck really well, could do with instructions including - Used for re-attaching a wind deflector. Didn't bother with the knife that came with as seems a bit dangerous but a stanley knife worked fine. Followed the instructions in the desertcart description and left for almost 72hr for solid adhesion to the wind deflector, then stuck to the van. Was a bit difficult to get the film off the back. Ended up having to use the knife to lift a corner and I expect that part will come off first but still seems fairly solid. Would probably leave a small tab at the end to pull before applying if I were doing it again. Main issue is that no instructions were included. I expect many with adhesion issues just applied to both sides immediately.

Not as good as I had hoped for....
Got this product on the advise of professional boatbuilder to install replacement perspex windows on a boat. Ultimately the adhesion isn't as good as he said it would be, he has questioned if the product is genuine 3M as his experience has been different - all surfaces prepared & cleaned beforehand...

Be sure you're sticking it right
Sticks & stays where it is stuck - be careful with alignment. Has been holding body-trim on my car for several months. Carwash use hasn't peeled it loose yet.

Recensione relativa a3M VHB 5952 (6,35mm x 4,5m), Extra forte Ho acquistato questo prodotto per fissare una luce a led, sprovvista di biadesivo, sotto lo scolapiatti, in un punto soggetto a forte umidità e su una superficie irregolare. Avevo già avuto un esperienza con questa stringa Led e non è stato semplice il fissaggio, ma per fortuna con questo biadesivo ho impiegato solo 5 minuti, è molto forte e la presa avviene subito al minimo contatto. La mia scelta ha tenuto conto oltre, al marchio che non mi ha mai deluso, delle recensioni e soprattutto delle caratteristiche del prodotto. Cosa riceverete? · una bustina trasparente contenente il rotolo di biadesivo · una taglierina molto utile in quanto con le forbici diventerebbe problematico vista la forte presa dell’adesivo. Ho acquistato la versione larga 6.35 millimetri lunga 4,5 metri e dello spessore di 1,1 millimetri. Si tratta di un Adesivo nero in acrilico modificato con all’interno una schiuma acrilica particolarmente conformabile che si fissa a una vasta gamma di superfici di materiali differenti tipo: alluminio, acciaio inox, acciaio zincato, plastiche, acrilico, policarbonato, ABS, legno sia verniciato che rivestito e altri composti. Inoltre ha una capacità di assorbimento delle sollecitazioni riduce le vibrazioni. Questo biadesivo è ottimo anche nell’elettronica, pensate che l’ho utilizzato per creare dei cuscinetti per eliminare le vibrazioni prodotte da un hard disk meccanico sul case metallico del pc, con un risultato molto soddisfacente! Sono estremamente soddisfatto dell’acquisto per prestazioni e prezzo e mi sento di poterne consigliare l’acquisto. P.s.: ricordati che prima di applicarlo occorre pulire bene la superficie dove andrà posizionato il biadesivo. Se volete restare aggiornati seguitemi!
