Mystic Monk Coffee: Midnight Vigils Blend Whole Bean - 12 ounce bag

Perfect blend and taste for me. My nephew had me try a cup of his special blend and I thought that was spectacular. I went out and purchased a new coffee brewer and now grind my own beans as well. I got my first bag of Mystic Monk coffee for my birthday from my stepson. Although very satisfied with my current coffee and thinking no one could top it, I tried Mystic Monk just for kicks. It was fantastic. The second cup was even better! I'm a one cup a day fella and boy is it tasty!

Super smooth coffee. Got it for my wife since she likes dark coffee more than me, but I have been sneaking into it more than her.

I was told about this coffee for a few months now and decided to try it. It’s smooth, good flavor, but the beans are very oily. I read the reviews the beans were oily, but to me they are very oily. The flavor is good though with bold flavor. I don’t know if I would buy it again.

With all the rave reviews, I was really looking forward to trying this coffee. I purchased the two pound Midnight Vigils blend. I use a French press, and I grind my coffee just before brewing. This blend was just okay. Perhaps my expectations got the better of me. I wanted more body, more flavor, and more richness, all of which seemed somewhat muted and flat. It was disappointing. I was left wanting instead of being sated.

I have bought the whole bean version of this coffee blend. I found it delicious. It is dark and tasty. I have bought it to use it in the expresso machine as well as in the Bonavita drip coffee machine. It does a good job in both cases. I drink a cup of this coffee in the morning, that's great to start the day. The packaging is well put together. It is completely hermetic once closed, but it is also easy to open. The 2lbs packaging is the perfect size for my consumption. I highly recommend this brand and would like to see more 2lbs options among their large range of bean coffees.
